Services
We are an early learning center for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old (Pre-K) in San Marcos, TX. The Kid Ranch Christian Preschool was founded in 1997 by Destini Doherty-Evans. The San Marcos Location has been operating under Destini for over 20 years but was previously named Lil' PeeWee's. We are located on Hunter Rd an equal distance between McCarty lane and Wonderworld Dr.
The Kid Ranch believes in a structured curriculum for your child. A strong educational foundation is vital to your child's long-term success. Getting routines and structure in their early years establishes the ability for a child to be self-driven and focused learners. Coloring, painting, gluing, working puzzles and building with blocks, to help your child refine fine motor skills.
Enrolling in our centers is an easy and no stress process. We don't require appointments to tour our centers. All are welcome at all times. The first step to enrollment would be to tour the center. Once you have toured and have decided that you want to make The Kid Ranch Christian Preschool part of your family.

My son went there for a week. After his third day I went to pick him up and there was one teacher that was barely eighteen and she looked overwhelmed. All the children were running over each other she did not have control of the classroom at all. My son then came home with some bruises and two days later they expelled my son with an email. My son was in an uncontrolled environment and had to defend himself. I researched further and found that they have had repeated issues with biting and fighting and teachers quitting in the past (read the old reviews on other websites) then I noticed some of their

We are so lucky to have found a safe place for our daughter to go to where her needs are met and she is genuinely loved by her teachers. We love that the Kid Ranch uses an app to update us on what’s going on at school and her teacher is able to send us messages and pictures of our little throughout the day. They take the time to reach out to parents and as first time parents we appreciate everything they do!

I have two children who have been attending Kid Ranch for going on 3 years now. They have provided such great care. They both have learned so much and enjoy going every day. I want to give a big shout-out to Ms. Liz, Kiara, and Haley. They have been with my children the longest and again, I can't stress how much they have learned. From counting in Spanish, saying Prayers, and many other things. Thank you all for the care you provide

I can’t say thank you enough for all you guys do for my son! It is a great comfort for me to know that he is happy and has formed a bond with the teachers, as well as his classmates. I’m happy to say that each day I can worry less because I know he is well taken cared for by the staff at kid ranch!

I searched for so long before I found a center I was comfortable sending my 2 year old to as he doesn’t talk much yet and I’m a very involved parents and I have not been disappointed at all by the care The Kid Ranch provides us! Every staff member I interact with is always so friendly and knowledgeable and my son is always SO excited to go to school every morning. I definitely made the right choice here! ❤️

Our daughter has been here for about 3 months now and we couldn’t be happier. We feel that it isn’t like the other “commercialized” daycares and we already feel that they treat our daughter like their own. The cost was slightly more than others but this was by far the best choice for our first time child:) keep it up y’all 👍 at the end of the day you get what you pay for and for your child it was a no brainer.
I will say that some of the reviews I find misguided based on the fact that this daycare sticks to its policies and at the end of the day it’s the best foe our children and

I had a terrible experience here. The management is unprofessional & lack integrity. The toddler teachers are very young & not qualified for the position. They are understaffed, the class size is enormous & the new kids just get thrown in the sea of children. My 2 year old son was expelled after 6 days of attendance for biting. Any early childhood educator would know how to handle this very common situation, but not here. He was not given the care & compassion any new student deserves. They never consulted me or gave advice, I simply received a 3 sentence email saying he was expelled, no phone

I absolutely love everyone at this daycare. My daughter loves attending we’ve never had any issues. When I drop her off and pick her up I always stay and visit for awhile. Everyone is so friendly and caring. I checked out many daycares before I found this one. When I went in to check it out I knew this was the daycare I wanted. I’m so blessed to have found this daycare. I love this place and I know without a shadow of a doubt my daughter is in excellent hands.

We loved our time at the Kid Ranch. The class ratios were a huge plus for us, prior to enrolling here my son’s class was very large and there was a lot of teacher turnover at his previous daycare. Here, the low ratios and the longer employment tenure of his teacher has definitely provided an excellent developmental environment for my son to thrive. We’ve seen multiple improvements for our toddler here. Recommend!

I’ve had a wonderful experience at Kid Ranch. I love the daily reports, it is awesome when I can watch my son enjoying his day while I am at work. Payment is a cinch and I appreciate that as well.
All in all it is a fun clean environment with warm loving people. I encourage those seeking more than just a daycare to walk through their doors and see for yourself.

I love Lil Pee Wee's Daycare. My eldest has been there for over three years and couldn't be happier. My younger one has been there for two years and is also thriving. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they are more expensive than others in hype area and don't offer extras for the extra costs. I would love it if that provided cameras that parents could view elsewhere. Also, I wish the teachers in the afternoon knew more about how each child did that day.
