Advanced Health Care is a licensed home health agency serving the needs of people who choose to receive personal or nursing care in the comfort and convenience of their own home or other residential care setting. We are a locally owned and managed firm that has served the needs of residents of Tacoma, Olympia, and South Puget Sound since 1984.
Ron Bode was working as a nursing home administrator and felt led to begin a new venture in private duty home care. He observed nursing home residents desperately wanting to return to their own homes, but without the support they needed to live independently and safely. While continuing to run the nursing home and raise a family of four children, Ron and his wife Pat opened Advanced Health Care and trusted that God would provide.
Advanced Health Care is proud to be members of and actively involved in the home care industry - to share information with other home care agencies and learn about best practices throughout the industry and the country. We work responsibly to promote educational and informational programs as well as high standards of excellence in home care services.
Our Caregivers are readily available to provide personal care and household management services that enable our clients to safely maintain their independence, sense of well-being, and security in their own homes. Our licensed practical and registered nurses (Home Care: Skilled Nursing) can assist in this effort by providing more skilled and complex nursing services when medically required.

Advanced Health Care has been amazing for me and my family. I am the primary caregiver for my Mom while I work. I could not offer my social time to my Mom without Advanced Health Care. Before I hired AHC, I spent most of my time with my Mom cleaning her home and taking care of her needs. This place was the worst I have ever experienced. My grandfather a vet that required care due to being paralyzed from the waste down. He told this company that he was not comfortable with a male doing his peri care, they told my grandfather should not be sexist and be open. 🤯 WHAT? So my grandpa is open to it for a few weeks the young guy was not qualified and not properly trained almost dropped him out of the hoyer, improperly hook up the sling. Left feces on after tolieting. Then they send another older lady who was kind of a fast pace that’s ok and all but my grandma asked her to be care

I with this company for almost five years and I got hurt on the job went on LI but worked part time. Got released to go back full time and they just told me they didn’t have the hours for me. I would call everyday and was told the same answer. Finally one day I got a call from the supervisor and she told me to come to the office after my shift. I did and she informed me I was fired because she has a witness that I was taking care of my client wife. ( the client past away two years before this). I’m pretty sure it was because I went on LI because I had excellent reviews until that day.
