The owner charged me $55 for a haircut and blow out. $55!!!! Said the reason was because I hadn't had my haircut in 8 months... What's the difference?! Also I told the owner I have never died my hair before because its naturally light blonde and she kept insisting I get highlights in the winter. I lost count of how many times I told her I was happy that I never have died my hair...yet she continued because she obviously wanted me to go back and spend more $ on her overpriced services. Never will go back.

So I called at 8am to make an appointment I told them I wanted a trim and to dye my hair I explained to the lady it might be a process because I wanted to lift the color I have and put purple in it. I over heard her tell the stylist exactly what I wanted and she said okay 1pm is good I said okay see you then. I get there I waited 25 minutes the stylist comes out and asks me what I wanted to do I said I want to trim my hair and I showed her a picture of the color I wanted in my hair and she told me that’s a 4 hour process I can’t do that today I only have 30mins I said can you do anything to

My normal go-to salon has not opened up post covid so I took a chance on this salon since my hair had grown out long and out of control. I'm glad I did because it's one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. I have thinner hair so a lot of stylists hesitate to add texture bc I guess it can be tricky to add texture without thinning out the hair too much... My stylists today did not hesitate to add the texture I wanted and I couldn't be happier with how my hair looks and feels. I THINK she was the owner ( I got owner vibes, but I could be wrong), and she was lovely. Will definitely go back

This place is amazing! It is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is terrific. Patricia is so talented with anything hair and beauty related, and most importantly she is an over-the-top amazing human being who makes her clients feel comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend Salon East Hair & Spa!
