Dr. Smith grew up in beautiful Alpine, Utah with his wonderful parents and seven brothers and sisters. He spent a lot of time in the dental chair including braces three times! It's no wonder he chose to become a dentist! After graduating from American Fork High School, Dr. Smith attended the University of Utah, where he completed his pre-dental requirements majoring in German with chemistry minor.

Love this office! From the beautiful holiday decor they always display to the awesome team. They make going to the dentist as enjoyable as possible. My husband and I have been patients at East Valley Dental for nearly 15 years. We have experienced change and growth with the practice over the years. The constant has always been Kathy and Jennifer. I absolutely love this place!! I've been in dentistry for 24 years so I pay attention to all the details from walking in the door and being greeted to the cleanliness of the office. Myra took great care when cleaning my teeth today! She listened to my concerns regarding my teeth sensitivity and jaw stress and responded by taking extra steps to make the experience comfortable. When I left, my mouth felt clean however, I didn't have the soreness that I had always accepted as "normal". She also shared a technique that I can use to relieve jaw tension. THANK YOU!

My first crown. Was not excited but Dr.Guelinas and Kathy made the whole process painless and very quick. I have been going to East Valley Dental Pros for several years and they never fail to provide great pro active dental care and then kindly take care of all my cavities and a crown because obviously I didn’t do a great job doing my part.
Anyhow, I had a hard time when I first moved to AZ finding a good dental place to call my own but this was my keeper from visiting several places. Make sure you try them out and give them a hard time while you’re there, I try to but it never phases them

Good dentists are not easy to find especially in such a corporate world, but East Valley Dental Professionals (a family owned practice) has truly found a wonderful one in Dr. Guelinas. Not only is he a very skilled and gentle dentist but he is one of the most caring I've ever met-very similar to the beloved Dr. Brinkman! He does beautiful fillings and crowns! I highly recommend this office.

Hands down the nicest people you will ever meet! I was in a bind with needing an appointment immediately and outside of my work hours, and even though there were a host of other issues, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I have been going to this office for years, when Dr. Brinkman died I continued to go to the office, because I was very comfortable. It wasn't until the office decided to divulge some of my sensitive medical records that I decided I would never go back again. If you value your privacy don't every use this dental practice. It was humiliating and beyond unprofessional, besides the Hippa laws they were clearly in violation of!!
