Joy Childcare
We believe that children learn best when they are actively and directly involved with age-appropriate materials and activities. Through active learning, children build on prior knowledge and skills. As they interact with the objects and people in their environment, children are developing new and more personally meaningful understandings of the world around them.

The parent(s) or guardian(s) will interview with the administrator, preferably while the child is present. If possible, the child will meet his or her teacher. The parent handbook is reviewed and a tour of the center will be given. Upon receiving the center's $75.00 registration fee, a copy of the handbook will be issued to the family.
Services
Research has shown that a child's first five years play an important role in their brain development. These early years provide the best opportunity for building a solid foundation for their success in school and in life. Our goal is to support each child in developing socially, emotionally, physically, in their language development, and in their thinking and problem solving skills.

Our children started in the toddler room and are now in a preschool room 2 years later. We are so happy with our experience at Joy. The teachers all know our children and are incredibly kind, caring, and loving. My children talk about all of their teachers with such fondness. And they learn a lot too of course. I am so relieved we found the right daycare/preschool on our first try!

My kiddos have been going to Joy Childcare since they were babies. I feel that the teachers truly love and care about my children. I am confident dropping them off each day and know that they will be well taken care of.
My children look forward to school each day!
The owners, director, and teachers are wonderful! I am sad that my oldest has to leave for kindergarten soon.
Highly recommend!

We sent our three children here over the period of a couple years and were very pleased. Julie, Thom and their supportive staff were great. When one of our children needed a little more care and attention, Julie was quick to jump in and provide all the assistance needed and then some. This was very much appreciated and helped put us at an ease we cannot describe. We wish the whole team here all the best as we enter the next chapter in our lives.

Wonderful, experienced staff. Very little staff turnover, which was common at our previous center. Clean, safe and a huge blessing to our family.

This daycare is terrible my little brother and sister used to go here and the teachers would treat my little brother like he isn't nothing. Some little boy would bully my little brother and they wouldn't do anything about it and my brother has a disability and they just kicked him out for being aggressive and he isn't we never had this problem with any other daycare but now it's a problem . I don't recommend putting your child in here they are against people with vouchers!!!!

Both my son and daughter attended Joy childcare between 2002-2015 and I cannot say enough good things about the excellent care they gave to my children. I loved the daily routine, the lessons, activities, and I always felt safe leaving my children in their care. My children often didn't want to come home because they had so much fun at Joy. Highly recommend this place if you want a fun and safe environment for your babies while you're at work.

Wish I could put less than 1 star. Each person tells a different story. They hardly ever give change if you pay in cash. If you do pay in cash, they hardly ever give you a receipt. If your kid has an accident, they throw away the dirty cloths. Got dirty looks from teacher when she was told we were potty training a 3 yeast old boy.
