The Three Rivers Co-operative Preschool, Inc. was founded in 1969 as a non-profit organization with a very simple philosophy: children, parents, and teachers attend school together, all learning from each other. Each child is accepted as an individual, and is helped to develop his/her full capacities at his/her own rate of progress.
Positive self-images are tenderly nurtured. Children need to find themselves in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where they can explore, share, play, and communicate with other children their own age. Our classroom activities challenge children to move forward at their own rate of success. Our integrated curriculum fosters learning and development through guided learning, experimentation, and cooperative play.

Services
There are no more than 16 children (generally 4 and 5 year-olds) in each three-day class and no more than 14 children (generally 3 and 4 year-olds) in each two-day class. We are a State-Licensed facility; our teachers are experienced, creative and enthusiastic. A teacher assistant and a helping parent aid our teachers every school day.
Our family has been so happy with Three Rivers Co-Op. We are so glad to see our sons' first experience with school be in a creative and loving environment. The classroom is clean, organized and playful and the staff really becomes like family. Tuition is due by the 10th of each month and can simply be placed in a (locked) mailbox in the classroom.

Such a great school - our family has been so happy with the experience both of our sons have had while in preschool. The teachers are creative, doing fun projects with the kids and exploring learning with them in such a fun way. The classroom is clean and organized - it is also filled with lots of great play areas. We love that the scheduled days are together which makes it really easy to plan out our week.
