Core Salon is a trendy upscale hair studio located in Randolph, New Jersey. When you are ready, it is here, in this beautiful industrial style establishment that you will find experienced professionals, high quality products and a wide range of hair services and specialties. The hair services at Core Salon are extensive and include natural looking dimensional hair color, re-texturing treatments and conditioning treatments for the hair.
Core Salon is owned and operated by designer and visionary Michelle Parkes. Michelle brings over 20 years' experience with her and an impressive resume of collaborative efforts with the biggest names in the business. As a National Educator and Platform Artist for Paul Brown Hawaii, Michelle has several years of experience in re-texturing and taming curly hair.

The people there are very nice however, the haircut I received was no where near what I asked for. I requested layers because I had a straight cut before and I wanted dimension in my hair. The hair stylist gave me another straight cut to my dismay. Now my hair is too short and flat with no shape at all. I’m honestly very upset there is nothing I can even do at this point to fix it. Not worth the price I payed at all.

Lori was cold and distant from the moment I walked in. I used to see Xiomara but noticed she was no longer working at your location. Considering the amount of time it has been since the pandemic and not being able to just go out to get your hair done, I was expecting a warmer outcome. Instead I was left being told how in terrible shape my hair was (I knew this) and how she just couldn't do anything to it. Rather than talking about my wedding coming up, or asking questions about that - I was constantly reminded about how thin and broken my hair ends were. I came

I had a perfect haircut with Erika! After several “bad” haircuts that left my hair uneven and just flat out looking not quite right, she was able to make it work. She knew what I needed and I felt comfortable in her skillful hands. Not only is she talented in her craft, she is sweet, easy to talk to, and gave me such much needed me time. My wife and I love Core. Vinnie and Stephanie are great! Vinnie does my wife's hair while Stephanie does mine. They all really listen and care as to whether or not you're happy. Their head massage and hot towel during the shampoo are always a joy. The complimentary hot tea and coffee brought to you are always appreciated. You won't regret going to Core. An experience at another salon started me cutting my own hair for several years. I trust Core. Wish I found them sooner!

My entire experience at Core Salon was really great! As a newer client, I was looking for a change and met Michelle the owner as a walk-in. She clearly had an understanding of what I was looking for as far as my hair and in a stylist. She has a profound confidence in her styling team. I have received tons of compliments since Vinnie did my hi-lites. He is an extremely knowledgeable and talented artist and my hair seriously looks better than ever. Halle cut and styled my daughter's very long hair and she is thrilled! Her hair looks gorgeous and is all set to grow longer and healthier than it was

Core Salon is the most professional and welcoming Salon in Randolph. Michelle, the owner is warm and friendly, as well as the entire staff. The front desk staff welcomes you with a smile and offers a hot or cold drink and also takes your coat to hang for you. The massage while your hair is being washed is the best! The stylists are all wonderful, and recently Heather has been working on my thick unruly hair and cutting it beautifully. They take the time to sit you down and ask what you want, before they begin. I recommend Core to all my friends. You will not be disappointed!
