The pharmacist is extremely rude and condescending. He treated both my daughter and me very poorly when we came in for her COVID vaccine booster. I would not give this pharmacy your business.

I'm really disappointed in this pharmacy. They're taking advantage of the lack of availability for home covid test kits. While other places like CVS and Walgreens are selling Flowflex (1 test) for $9.99 and at Target for $5.00, Wellspring is selling them for $21.99 each. After finding out the huge discrepancy in pricing, I tried to return the kits I had just bought but was told "all sales are final which is printed on the receipt." First, who looks at their receipt right when they purchase something? I should have been informed by the cashier at the location while purchasing

Terrible experience trying to call in a prescription for a patient. Incredibly rude, condescending, and unpleasant pharmacist. Which now, by looking at the reviews it appears is unfortunately the norm here. Avoid this place.

There are signs out front saying they welcome the support of the community. But they fail to be open and fail to answer their phones. I have given up on them, will unfortunately have to use one of the big pharmacies instead.

Do not give this place your business. The owner is rude and could not care less about his customers trying to fill a simple prescription. He turned me away just by looking me up and down and said sorry we can’t fill this. Like what?! Never experienced anything like this. He is a disgrace and will never come here again.

As a 77-year old immunosuppressed solid organ recipient I was qualified to receive a full dose Moderna vaccine as a way to possibly raising an increase in my immune response to SARS-CoV-2. Using the CA DPH web site, I scheduled my vaccine shot for Tuesday at noon. Arriving on time the woman who checked me in was efficient, friendly & professional. The pharmacist in contrast was rude, unaware of CDCs & CA DPH guidance pertaining to solid organ Tx immunosuppressed individuals. Despite my not at all showing ANY attitude, this fellow said repeatedly "don't show me attitude."

The owner and manager of the company, Andrew Beyers, is rude, aggressive and condescending. When simply asked about an available vaccination appointment, we were met with "do you want us working until midnight every night?". The level of inappropriate behavior was surprising and unnecessary. Avoid this place at all costs.

What a cluster. I got an email from Kaiser regarding Covid boosters. Wellspring had in bold blue that they offered the Moderna version. I made an appointment for the next day only to arrive and find out they had not any booster vaccines for two days.

Bear in mind, I got a text message confirming my appointment but none telling me there was no way to get the vaccine. It's like that old Seinfeld joke...anyone can make an appointment, it's keeping it that's important.

Really? You're talking appointments online but have no stock on hand. What a waste! Also, not the most inviting

This is the best pharmacy ever! I've been going to Wellspring for the past few years and have never had anything but a great experience. They are quick to call when a prescription is ready, and they even do free delivery to your house! Yes, they are a smaller pharmacy and so every now and then there is a drug they don't immediately have on hand, but even when that happens the turnaround time is super fast--never more than a day--and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Their store is small, but usually has all of the over-the-counter stuff I need--sometimes in an even greater

I came to Wellspring Rx to handle a confidential matter, that I didn't want Kaiser Hospital to handle. The matter was taken care of, and I just wanted to leave a nice review and award 5-stars. Your staff are very professional, efficient, patient and caring. They answered all my questions. And days later, I feel no side effects or pain. I got everything taken care of, and I learned some things from your staff.

I would only suggest that you need more chairs in the waiting area.

There is a new pharmacist that has been working there approximately one month. Julie needs to be investigated for validity of her license. This woman is refusing to fill prescriptions. Lying to patients and doctors. The medical board association needs to investigate this immediately. In order to post view it must be rated it would be zero unacceptable.

I've been going here for my meds recently and I can't complain about anything. It's quick and staff is very friendly. Lucy always answers the all the questions I have. I don't think I'll be returning to a chain pharmacy anytime soon!

This place is awesome. I called ahead of time and was able to get in contact with a lovely voice. I like the location, its in the corner and I usually get street parking almost everytime in front of the store. It's not too far for me when I need my medications, especially for last min needs. The vibe is pretty great, I got greeted with open arms and was helped right away. One time I forgot his name but the old man was pretty attentive and patient to my needs especially when I get anxiety on personal interactions with strangers. After many visits I would highly recommend this place for anyone

Great experience all around! From over the phone to face to face interaction, definitely felt more than just a customer. This wonderful team has gone above and beyond to make sure my prescription needs were taken care of and walked me step by step with the dosage and what not. Great team greeted with smiles and I was in and out in no time.

I highly recommend this pharmacy for your pharmaceutical needs. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. They were kind enough to answer all my questions and concerns. Prices are competitive and they deliver!!!!

The main reason to go with this pharmacy is their free delivery... I thought. Turns out their drivers are incapable of finding local addresses (which you don't find out until the next day since they deliver late into the evening) and even after spending time on the phone describing the address, they can't be counted on to deliver within 48 hours. I ended up waiting on hold three separate times (wait, how long does it actually take to look up an address??) with the phone attendant finally demanding that I make myself available *all day* in case the phone rang and the driver needed additional

Wow. My experience was only via phone but the woman who picked up was short, condescending and seemed more interested in guessing what I was going to say and mean than actually allowing me to speak...

Apparently if you have an order you have previously picked up and paid for with cash at their Berkeley location, that Rx cannot be transferred to this Oakland location. It's CAT medication for heavens sake! Is everything they do wrapped up in crazy red tape?!

I've been a client of Wellspring for several years. I consider this operation an integral part of my healthcare team. As a disabled person with multiple conditions, my needs are many.
Let me list a several things that work week for me plus one consideration.

1. Delivery: Convenient and flexible times, courteous deliverers, ALWAYS on time.
2. One-to-One: I deal with only 1 person for best service.
3. Medications packaged in wraps or trays by day & time. Allows tracking,avoids confusion.
4. When my docs or scripts change, they often call to schedule delivery before I do.
5. They were there

Experience was ok, pricey but ok if you have a special Rx. No parking space street parking only must pay meters. Handicap accessible. Customer service was ok.

FUBAR on STEROIDS

I am truly done with Well springs and Andy can embellish and fabricate whatever story he chooses.
I have received 1 phone call since I posted my 1st review from someone claiming to be Andy's business partner .
I explained that I was unable to talk but he could call back after 3pm. That was yesterday and I have not received another call.
Today is the 28th of June and I still await my reimbursement directly connected to Andy and crews malfeasance. Incredible wellsprings, incredible ...
