I began my career as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry, but it wasn't until one fateful day that I realized dental hygiene was my calling. A few years ago, I attended a local event in Austin, Texas, where dentists, hygienists, and assistants were needed to provide dental care for a majority of people without insurance or funds.

Just want to point out the excellent service I had at Mental Density. From the moment I stepped into the facility to the moment I excited the establishment. First time visit. I'll give as much detail as I can for fellow anxious patients to know what to expect. A dental assistant took my x-rays, weight and height, then took me to a treatment room. I waited for a short time, then the dentist came in to examine my teeth and what work needs to be done. I waited another short time, and the dental hygienist then did an initial exam as well. After that, he walked me out where one of the front desk personnel then explained the financial aspects of my treatment plan, and what ways I can get it done. Everyone was nice, and it went smoothly. This place has excellent staff, but it saddens me that I can’t say the same for Mr. Obaid. He is very unprofessional. I had a question after getting my fillings and he scuffed and looked annoyed. I asked a question because I saw a dark stain on my teeth, and he gave me attitude. After he explained why, he just got up and left after the assistant asked if he could lift my chair. He just stormed out of the room. I have seen several other reviews stating the same about this individual. If he’s around, you’re better off not asking any questions.

I had a great experience here for my initial visit and cleaning. Everyone was exceptionally professional and kind. The hygienist was very personable and made sure I was comfortable.

This place was better than I expected. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I wanted open communication with everything that was happening and that’s exactly what they gave me. My tooth extraction was relaxing and as painless as possible. Everyone was very patient with me and it’s exactly what I wanted. I'm really glad I chose this Dentistry! My experience was great and it starts as soon as you walk in. The front staff is so nice and friendly and the treatment coordinator explains everything so perfectly. I get so much anxiety before a dental visit due to past experiences, and they made me feel so relaxed. The new dental hygienist is awesome and I will forever be his patient!!! 😊

I was grateful that they were able to fit us in the schedule on a late notice. Upon arrival, they were very thorough and quick to take us in for an exam. Their facility is brand new, clean, and provides an ambience of comfort. The staff is very caring and hardworking. My sibling had a great experience due to the kind manner and deliverance of the hygienist and doctor. I'll probably be coming back here again.
