Filomena Cucina Italiana is a premier dining establishment located in Blackwood, NJ. For almost 30 years, Filomena has been serving delicious, rustic style Abruzzi cuisine. We continue that tradition which offers a sophisticated casual bar and grill, atmosphere, traditional Italian fare, and fine American cuisine.

Family owned and operated, Mama Filomena remains in the kitchen making her signature homemade gnocchi. What else could be better? In addition to our customary dinner menu, the chef offers lunch specials and dinner 7 days a week. Every entree is served with our famous roasted peppers and garlic bread.

It was nice but very expensive almost $700. It was small portions that didn't ask you if you wanted second for mixed drinks. What was odd cause you think they would cause they cost more

The claims were burnt to the crisp; when I walked in, the hostess was extremely rude not only to me but the server that was in the front covering for her while she wasn't there. I wouldn’t return. The food was a 1/10. The only thing they have going for them is the crab cakes:

The server, Robert Dion, stole money from me. He continued to say that he would burn my house down and shoot my family. It was the worst experience ever.
Bad food & service.

Just had the best dinner with the best waitress, Anistasia! Everything from the homemade bread and peppers appetizer, the homemade house dressing and pasta sauce was delicious! We almost didn't have room for dessert, but there was no way we could say no! We even took a pizza home for later. This place and the staff were incredible, be sure to check them out if you already haven't!

I went on a Monday night with my mother. From looking at their website I assumed it was a nicer restauraunt and we would be seated with white table cloth etc. Instead we were seated in the bar area which was a disappointment. No doubt we looked stupid; I was in dress shoes.
Our server Anastatsi greeted us and took our drinks promptly. Her service was a little slow, but she did reveal that there were supposed to be two servers schudeled for that night so the slowness is understandable.

This place has great food. The only problems were the fact of there was a dish my mother wanted (we were dining for her birthday) advertised on the online menu that was not available. Update your menus please. Also the cannoli was good except it was made with cheap lemon flavoring instead of using vanilla. Ruined my whole cannoli experience. I was so excited they made the cannoli without chocolate chips (or with if you want but who wants that) but then it tasted like lemon. Other than that highly recommend. The service was great

Food is excellent. This is my husband's go to Italian restaurant because they have smooth gravy on the chicken parm. I prefer the other chicken dishes. They're all good. Love their stuffed mushroom appetizer and the house salad dressing. They have a full bar too.

I have no complaints , only complements. The atmosphere was very vintage Italian and cozy. Service was fast and friendly. Food was hearty and flavorful. Great portions . Plenty to share . Awesome price.
