For asian food, the selection of this place is pretty huge and averagely-priced.
Sushi was my favorite from here, with large rolls. The Chinese and Thai were just alright, though. I know some loyal customers of Jaysian, and they swear by everything. Ordered delivery by calling in and they dropped it off within an hour.

Their sushi is great and a good selection of rolls, however I will never be doing business with this restaurant again. I placed an order online on their website for delivery, as advertised. I called to confirm part of my order, was told that they could not deliver, asked to cancel my order, and the person on the phone hung up on me and went to another customer. It took me calling back 4 times and talking to 4 different people to cancel my order. This is extremely unprofessional and for that reason I do not trust this restaurant with my money.

I was in the mood for sushi and since we are all quarantined, I went online to find a place near me that I can order from and pick up. Jay Asian was available for pick-up and I picked them because my younger son doesn't eat sushi but loves lo mein and they had it on their menu.
I ordered sushi, combo meals and lo mein. Went to pick it up, meal was on a chair right at the entrance ready to go. Food was warm, so good and I will def go back.

I ordered delivery through their website, and after an hour I called to check on how much longer my order would be. The phone was off the hook. Here I am, two hours later, my card has been charged and my food still isn't here. I continue to try calling and the phone is not even connecting to the restaurant.
I called around 9 pm (I ordered at 6) and got through, and am was asked if I could come pick up my order. No, please refund my money three hours later. The lady tells me someone called me. No they didn't.

For dinner were. After browsing on grubhub for a while we decided to once again order from Jays.
The sushi is awesome! We tried the Yummy Roll and the White House Roll, the sushi rice is a awesome texture and the fish isn't oily and does not have a weird after taste. We also had 2 spicy tuna rolls and 2 salmon avocado rolls.
The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is amazing! Normally bang bang shrimp are fried, which is ok but really heavy. This place grills their shrimp on skewers and gives the bang bang sauce as a mayo dip. Its a fresher flavor and works really well!

There's a few problems with this place.
First, the waitress looked pained to have customers. Yes, the phone was busy with other orders. I get that. She was completely unfriendly and seriously distracted nevertheless. One of the kids is severely cognitively impaired. We really needed prompt service. It is hard to be out.
This restaurant was completely empty, and we were new customers. New customers! Empty!
Secondly, the food was poorly timed. 2 meals were served and eaten before the other one. This was really difficult for me, the other. My food came last, and it was hard

My favorite sushi chef in South Jersey. We love Jay Asian Bistro. We love the casual atmosphere and family-run operation. If you're lucky, you may be served by the young daughter who will charm you with her great service. It isn't fancy and we have no problem showing up in gym clothes or grubbies. The 2 for 1 sushi menu is great. The variety of available dishes always pleases. We love their hot and sour soup.

I tried the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce and had a side of steamed brown rice. My husband ordered the sushi regular. It looked like a work of art. He stated that the sushi was really fresh delicious. The eggplant was amazing! It had a little spice to it, which made the dish. These photos don't do the dish justice. It looked and SMELLED amazing. There was enough here to split between two people. Give it a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I have a standing Wednesday dinner date and we try to pick different places to try each week. This week I was feeling a bit iffy with a cold coming on, so we decided on take-out.
I ordered the coconut curry soup with chicken, which was stated on my receipt but when I got home, it turned out to have shrimp instead. Just like Leo Getz says in Lethal Weapon 2, "Don't ever go through the drive through. They always F*CK you at the drive through!"
I was ok with that in the long run but bottom line, the soup to me tasted a little thin. The spiciness helped clear my nostrils though

Their food always comes hot for delivery orders, the crab rangoon is outstanding, and the sushi is definitely the freshest around. My family and I decided to try dining in for a change and everything from the service to the meal was excellent. The owner treated us for fish tempura on the house which was really nice of her. It's always a great experience when we order from Jade's Asian Bistro and I definitely recommend stopping by if you haven't yet tried them out.

Chinese food tends to be hit or miss for me, all too often you'll ask for extra spicy and the food comes out bland. Enter Jay's - Most Excellent Cafe. I sometimes go into my office on a Saturday and thanks to GrubHub - I have ordered delivery from Jay's roughly five or six times. The food has always been completely to my liking. spicy, crispy, yummy, flavorful in every way. As a 20 year vegetarian I appreciate the meat free choices. I've had spring rolls, fried veg dumplings, the Chinese pizza and General Tso's Tofu - extra, extra, extra spicy. Everything was cooked

No complaints... Trying the pineapple coconut fried rice, hubby is happy with his usual sweet n sour chicken, not too much breaking and crisp! And I have mapo tofu, a lil spicy kick in brown sauce. Nothing fancy but good! Byob is a plus, so bring ur bubbly! Service is great, although it is empty in here tonight, probably due to icy conditions outside! Buy one get one sushi... I will come back to try that! I saw lunch specials and bento boxes on the menu also! No complaints tonight! So a high five it is!!! They even turned up the heat a few notches for us lol!
