Kerry brought with him over 46 years of restaurant experience ranging from short order cooking to gourmet dining management. Kerry's first job in high school was in food service and he has always dreamed of owning his own restaurant. We do our own smoking of meats on the property; smoking our brisket and pulled pork for 12 to 14 hours.

We stumbled upon Abella's this morning. What a pleasant surprise. The food was good. The prices were reasonable and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I was a little concerned, because everyone who came in seemed to be a regular. I thought the wait staff might be so busy talking to the regulars, that our service might suffer. This was not the case. Abby took very good care of us. She made us feel welcome.

This place is so wonderful! The people are always so friendly, the owner is a genuinely good guy, and the decor is perfect for a small-town diner. The food, though, is amazing. Personally I'd recommend either the "Pony Shoe" or the "Captain Crunch French Toast." The latter might sound strange; but trust me, it is delicious!
