Start Here Preschool is a unique early childhood program designed for parents who have both the time and the interest in being involved in their preschoolers' first educational experience. The school's philosophy is that children's learning should be developmentally appropriate and facilitated through play, and also that parents are an important part of a child's education.
Preschool doesn't have to be expensive. With a little help from every parent, tuition costs can remain low without sacrificing educational standards or quality. Children learn naturally while playing. At Start Here! Preschool, we take that to heart and have made it central to our preschool philosophy.

Services
We believe that children have a natural desire to learn and will do so at their own rate if given the opportunity. Play and learning are deeply interconnected during these developmental years. Children's literature is incorporated throughout the day. Free play, circle time and learning centers all routinely include literacy, interaction and freedom to explore.
I'm Becca and I'm the lead teacher at Start Here Preschool! Central Oregon has been my home throughout my life, and I love everything our state has to offer. I live in a small home with my significant other, dog, and kitty.
I just completed my associate's degree at Central Oregon Community College, and am hoping to start George Fox University's elementary education bachelor's program, in the fall of 2021-don't worry, during the program I'll still be in Central Oregon and can continue teaching at Start Here!I enjoy reading, creating and crafting, being outdoors, and spending quality time with loved ones.

I love that Start Here! Preschool allows me to volunteer in my son's class and witness every part of his school day. I see firsthand what his interactions are with other children and with his teachers. Being a part of the Start Here coop allows me the invaluable experience of being a part of my son's education from the very beginning.
