My name is Stephanie, I am one of the owners at Escape Uptown Salon & Spa. I started my career in 2004, although around age 4 I realized this profession would be my future! Around that same time 4ish I met one of the most influential people in my life, my business partner and mentor Kelly! My entire family got their beauty services done by her and I would watch in awestruck learning more and more every year.
Hair is a very personal and important part of our self esteem. We are fully prepared to take on any challenges you might be having, if you want to completely change or enhance what you like, we are what you need! The majority of our clients have been with us for years, and for some, decades. We pride ourselves in living life with you.
These have become such a beauty hit! Women all over have been falling in love with this glamorous look. Our eyelashes and adhesive are gentle for your eyes and deliver a pop to your makeup routine! Free naps come with every appointment! Loss of lashes is unfortunately inevitable due to daily wear, growth and everchanging weather.

I was referred to Stephanie, called and made and appointment for 2 weeks out. At that time it was discussed that they normally are not doing blowouts right now after a cut. After consideration that I was going from a long hair to a completely new short haircut, an exception was going to be made and that they were willing to go ahead and do a blowout. I have been going to Escape Uptown since 2015 (I support local business), I have always felt my needs were met when getting my haircuts. I have never had a bad haircut here. However, I would really caution those who are going for a hair color treatment, I have gotten my hair colored here twice and do not recommend it. I went in for a balayage and haircut ($140 pre tip), I got nervous when the foils came out as this is not traditionally how the style is meant to be applied, and have ended up with what looks like a partial highlight with four very noticeable streaks near the front of my face. I wanted to try Escape Uptown as I wanted to support a local business. I liked the salon, and had a decent experience while I was there. I went for an all over color and cut, and was happy with it when I left (even with being sent out the door with wet hair). The next day when I got home I put my hair up and noticed a big chunk of my roots weren't dyed, and looked completely blotchy all over. I would have been fine with this if it was a student that was learning how to do hair , but not for $120. My mother also went a couple weeks after for an eye lash tint and lift, and the lady who did it

I have been going to Escape for about 5 years now, every three months on the dot. The owner is amazing and super friendly, my hair cuts are consistent and look great and i love the product lines that are recommended to me. I have tried so many other places and no ones comes close to the quality and customer satisfaction that this salon offers.

I have had nothing but a great experiences here. Annie has been cutting my hair for years and she does a great job every time. She always knows what I want, and she makes it happen! Terrible haircut. Ruined my hair and there is no way to get it back into shape until it grows out for a couple of months. The person point cut my hair with thinning shears. Made it stringy looking and it was cut unevenly. When I spoke to owner it told her I am happy to pay for the color but want a refund on the cut (my was shoulder length when I went in). My bill for cut and color was $140. The owner replied, "well a cut is only $20 when you get it with a color. It's all over our website and brochures". I almost fell over when she said that and she was NOT very friendly.
