The Executive Council (Board of Directors) is the New Mexico Pharmacists Association governing body established by the By-laws to be representative of the membership in practice type and geographic setting. The updated information and member listing below becomes effective following the Installation at the NMPhA Mid-Winter meeting held in January.
We've had a big year for opioid and heroin overdoses in the United States and we're currently facing one of the most major public health crisis' of our time. According to the *CDC, 16,000 deaths in the United States involved opioids and over 8,000 of which involved heroin. Cities like Cincinnati saw record numbers of overdoses with almost 200 overdoses in just a few days.
Pre-Requsites: Must submit Copy of current PTCB or ExCPT Certification + Letter of Recommendation from supervising Pharmacist. Proof of Current CPR status will be required prior to issuing an Immunization Certificate. This course consists of 3 hours of home-study and 2 hours of live training. You must successfully complete the home-study portion prior to getting registered for the live session.
