Christen Marek founded Integrative Massage, LLC. in 2007 - the same year she graduated from the Blue Heron Academy's 1200 hour Medical Massage Therapy program. She has kept compliant with changing laws and obtained Michigan State Licensure when the state of Michigan changed state regulations for massage therapy in 2014.
The Purpose of Your Medical Massage: to alleviate pain and suffering with focus on your musculoskeletal pathology. The Pain Cycle: Your massage therapist will work the muscles to break the pain cycle. This is achieved by placing the patient in specific anatomical positions and using a folding technique on the soft tissue.

I have visited Christen 4 or 5 times now and she has been such a tremendous help. She addresses my problem areas and does a great job loosening up my extremely tight shoulders and upper back. Christen genuinely cares and listens to my specific issues. She truly wants to make her clients feel better. She has even recommended stretches for me to do in between sessions to help keep my muscles a little looser. I would definitely recommended Christen to anyone.

Christen is awesome! I have been to many different massage places over the past ten years and I have finally found the one I will go to again and again! She managed to work out my sore spots without leaving me feeling bruised or more sore than when I went in! Highly recommended! Already scheduled my next apt.

I have visited with therapist Christen twice now and have scheduled a third already. What a pleasant surprise realizing how much she helped my very tight shoulders and neck. I also felt some extra energy. It is a very relaxing experience and I would definitely recommend Christen to anyone, and have.
