Liz Cook manages reservations and event planning for Daveed's Catering. In addition, she manages their retail store at Daveed's Culinary Kitchen in Madeira, Ohio. Owners Chef David Cook and his wife, Liz Cook, provide private and corporate catering and are the exclusive caterers for Backstage Event Center in Downtown Cincinnati and Wiedemann Hill Mansion in Newport, KY.

Chef and Co-Proprietor of Daveed's Catering, David Cook, began his restaurant career at age fifteen busing tables and washing dishes at the historic 20 Mile House Restaurant in Loveland, Ohio. Now David and his wife, Liz, have been the driving force behind making the name Daveed's nationally noteworthy.
Cancellation must occur 2 weeks prior to event date for a full refund. If cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks, a gift certificate is sent for the deposit amount. You will receive an invoice from Daveed's for all alcohol, beer and wine, 6.5% tax and 18% gratuity on alcohol sales.
If a food tasting is requested, a $40 p/p tasting will be incurred the day of the tasting for 6 menu items to be shared by 2 guests; you may make reservation for more than 2 if you wish; same fee will be incurred.Once a deposit of $200 has been made, you will receive a $40 p/p credit on the final bill of the event.

David and Liz Cook first opened Daveed's 934 there in 1999, but moved to Loveland in 2012 to open a new restaurant called Daveed's Next. They have closed that location and hope to be back in their original spot on the Hill in October, pending liquor license approval. They own the building, which has been empty since their tenant, Indian restaurant Cumin, closed.

What a great evening we had for Valentine's dinner!! The service and food were outstanding!!!!!! Every dish was incredible. We have had enjoyed David's cooking since we first moved back to Cincinnati and discovered Daveed's in Mt. Adams in the early 2000's. Even then he was always incredibly sensitive to our food allergies and intolerances. I've loved watching their transition and maturation from Mt. Adams, to Loveland, back to Mt. Adams, and now to Madeira with Daveed's Catering and Culinary Kitchen. I can't count the number of meals and dishes I've enjoyed with them over the past 20 years.

These people are absolutely TOP SHELF. We had a Valentine's dinner this evening. 5 courses, serving about 12-14 people in a private setting. Every course was perfect. David and Liz produced beautiful dishes with stellar service. I have used these guys for birthday parties, office parties etc for literally 15+ YEARS and I am consistently amazed at the quality and professionalism, year after year. Do yourself a favor and hire this crew for your next private/corporate dinner. I love these guys.

Out of this world. Daveed's catered our corporate event for ~120 people. I couldn't tell you all of the different food choices for light bites/hors d'oerves, but I can tell you that everything I had (which was nearly everything) was PHENOMENAL.
Daveed's was wonderful to work with and totally exceeded expectations. They're on my list of trusted caterers in Cincinnati!

David and Liz Cook have always been a bright spot in the Cincinnati food scene. and their latest venture is no exception. They do catering, have prepared food to go, and have a market, but my favorite is the tapas nights. If you have a chance to go, don't miss it. The food is fun small plates in a really friendly, intimate environment. David is doing inventive modern American cuisine - seasonal ingredients with interesting flavors and really good judgment. Daveed's catered a work party we held at Corkopolis. We are all still raving about the food! It was easily the best chicken breast I have had in my entire life and the soup, salad, sides and desserts were simply excellent. I have never thought of catered food as being anything other than average but Daveed's blew me out of the water! Highly recommend for any event.

Daveeeds provided the dinner for the diner en blanc this year end it was disastrous. Salads thrown into baggies, s huge bunch of lettuce, and ind chicken breast (also presented in s Baggie) to be shared by 2 people. All for the low low price of $125. He had a captive audience if potential customers and completely blew it with this thoughtless and cheap meal.

Customer treatment was pathetic. Gee, you're first to arrive for dinner. Let's see if we can get away with giving you one of the worst tables. The beer list is boring. The Asian pork noodle dish was luke warm and the pork hard to find ($20). You should be jumping with joy to have customers. If you'd like some bread with dinner; that's extra. I'll be surprised if you're still there on 1/1/17. You alienated four individuals who eat out constantly. We'll never be back.
