When you see DPT after a therapist's name, it means he or she has completed approximately seven years of college and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While therapists train in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiology, and intensive care therapy, most therapists decide to specialize in one or two.
This is a special program for all stages of Parkinson's Disease. If you know anyone or have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, these 7 main exercises are a must! Evidence shows excellent progression of strength, improved balance and walking stride, improved speech, and improved ability to transfer and improved ability to dress yourself.
Dry needling is a specific clinical technique used to decrease muscular pain. The physical therapist uses acupuncture needles to penetrate the skin and muscle to release muscular spasm and decrease pain. Studies have shown 28% being of patients completely cured of soft tissue pain, 64% partial relief of symptoms, and 8% showed low or no soft tissue pain relief.

You'll get all the nice relaxing stuff but they'll push you too. But that's what you need to actually get better & heal properly. They know what they're doing.

Our teen son is currently undergoing physical therapy at Coddington Physical Therapy for a dislocated kneecap. He is a new patient and we couldn’t be happier with the care that he is receiving. The staff is friendly and helpful and their equipment is state of the art too. Our son is making great progress and he enjoys his weekly visits. We would highly recommend Matt and his staff for all of your physical therapy needs!
