Your first visit at our office is very important in establishing your oral health baseline. We will perform a complete oral examination which includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, an analysis of your occlusion (bite) and a thorough examination of your teeth, their supporting structures and of the oral anatomy.
For more than 20 years, leading the dental team at Commack Dental Associates, Dr. Kennedy has been providing outstanding dental care to his community members and their families. A 1985 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Kennedy is renowned for his kind and gentle demeanor.
He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Suffolk County Dental Society, the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the American Academy of Oro-Facial Pain.When he is not practicing, Dr. Kennedy enjoys spending time with his family and playing the guitar and bag pipes.

During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information and give you time to get to know your dentist. You will find all necessary information, such as office hours, our mission statement and patient forms.

Our program is designed to help prevent new cavities, preserve teeth that have been restored and manage periodontal disease. At the initial visit, oral hygiene instructions are reviewed and are reinforced at subsequent recall visits.
