Services
Our award-winning facility has been caring for pets in the Coastal Bend since 1956, when founder Dr. Jack Habluetzel opened the hospital in a residential neighborhood. Dr. Broussard took over the practice in 1993, and Ingleside Animal Hospital moved to its current location in 2000. We're proud of our longstanding legacy in the Ingleside community and the relationships we've built with pet owners throughout the years.
She spent her childhood on a farm in South Louisianna and always wanted to work at an animal hospital. In 2012, she was given that opportunity at a clnic in her home state before moving to Texas in 2016. She loves her job and has been known to nurse baby rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, puppies, and kittens.
The experienced team at Ingleside Animal Hospital is pleased to provide your pets with a lifetime continuum of knowledgeable care. Visit each of the pages below to further explore our services. Please contact us if you have any questions or want to discuss your pet's needs. We're here to answer your questions candidly and offer the best medical options we can for your pets.
Ingleside Animal Hospital has a spacious boarding facility that can comfortably house up to 85 pets, with separate areas for cats and dogs. We can also accommodate birds, reptiles, and other small exotics, and we'll gladly administer medications for those who need it during their stay. Cats boarding with us are treated to cat condominiums with personal perches.
All pets deserve to have healthy, happy, pain-free smiles, and when it comes to cats and small dogs in particular, dental disease is the single most important health issue. Appropriate, ongoing dental care is a critical aspect of any pet's healthcare plan. Simply put, dental diseases, left unchecked, lead to serious complications-including organ failure-down the road.

We are new in town and were a little nervous about a new veterinarian. Dr. Broussard and his staff were amazing. They were caring and very clear about the care of all three of our dogs - ages 1, 10 & 14! Your pets aren't just names in a book. We felt like they treated our dogs the way they would treat their own.

The only reason this is not 1 star is because the vet service is amazing and have helped us since we've been down here. But the grooming service should not even be provided if this is the quality of the services rendered.
She is a Golden Retriever. By asking for a short cut to help with the temperature, the groomer said she would do a "summer cut" along with the basics (nails, bath, etc). But when I picked her up, this is the result. Uneven patches of cut fur, clear indications of buzzer lines, and a nervous dog. Groomer did not indicate any issues during the session and even said she was easy

I have been with Dr Ricky for over 20 years. I rely on Dr. Ricky and his staff because they are professional, courteous, and friendly. I feel at home with them. My pets love them. I know my darlings are always cared for here. They have also kenneled and watched them (while I have been away) because they have some special needs.
