The Pet Care Team of GVH is dedicated to making sure your pet receives the best possible care while in our facility. Whether you are boarding with our lodging staff or bringing your sick pet in to see our doctors, the GVH staff makes sure your pet is treated with dignity, compassion, and care. Our pet care team consists of specialized lodging staff, licensed veterinary technicians, receptionists, pharmacy technicians, groomers and veterinarians.
At Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital the care and comfort of your pet is our top priority. We are devoted to providing quality medical care for your pet. This means we are committed to utilizing the latest techniques in creating a Fear Free environment, pain management, anesthesia, surgical skill, and diagnostics.
If you are worried about coming in for your appointment, re-check or prescription refill, consider using our online telemedicine solution: Airvet. Through the Airvet app, you can connect via your cell phone or iPad with veterinarians to have a virtual appointment from the comfort of your home.

I have taken my 2 dogs to Gibraltar Vet for years. I am taking care of my sons dog for a few months as he is in the Army and needed someone to watch his dog short term. His dog is 7 and had a fairly long seizure and has never had one before. I called and explained the situation and they would not let me bring him in for over 2 1/2 weeks. I am retired so I told them I could do any day/time but that didn’t help. Called another vet who I have not been to, they said they could get me in the next day. I won’t be going back. I like the vets at Gibraltar but this is unacceptable.

I choose Gibraltar Veterinary because they offer ALL the services I need in one place, I stay because of their professional and friendly staff! Having the option of boarding my pet basically at her Dr's, gives me the knowledge that she is well cared for.

The front desk is always nice never rude the few times I have been in thus far. When calling it is the same always friendly never rude. And…. Dr. Duderstadt is amazing. I absolutely trust her to take care of my 2 new kitties. After an unexpected and for me a traumatic loss of my 9 year old cat Angel and a horrible vet experience I came here and she is a God send. Nothing less than an amazing vet and human.

We just showed up for our 3.40 appointment. We reached out and advised we would be a little late. We were 15 minutes late. They refused to see us unless we paid an emergency office visit fee. I understand the need for keeping a schedule, but they clearly have capacity if they can see the dog, they just want more money to do it. Be better Gibraltar Vet.

The care is usually good however.
They over schedule themselves, I scheduled an appointment pretty early and had to wait an hour just for them to see my dog. The reason for the two stars is I called for an emergency the night before and they couldn’t get me in because they had too many appointments. Now I’m here for my appointment and they can’t get me in because of emergencies. Very strange, very unprofessional.
I had to call them after a while to see where anyone was, 30 minutes after I called to tell I was here; which was 10 minutes before my appointment. So an 1:40min in the parking

I always receive exceptional care for my pet at Gibraltar Vet Hospital. Morgan does a great job grooming my pet. The veterinarians are always caring and attentive to my pets needs and my concerns. Wouldn’t take Bella anywhere else!

I love to bring my two fur girls to Gibraltar Veterinary, where they treat them with the same care and loving touch as we gave them at home, They do not mind the many "mistakes" my girls do, and always accommodate us according to their needs plus they have an excellent groomer.
