Ryan Leidner received his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and his A.B. from Brown University.
He is a Registered Architect in the State of California, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is based in San Francisco. Ryan was a founding member and Design Director of the non-profit organization MASS Design Group, with whom he designed the Butaro Hospital and the Giribuntu School in Rwanda.

Services
Located on the shores of Lake Elementaita, Nakuru 2 uses a system of operable louvers to control openness and privacy. By pairing a small building footprint with a large sod roof and deck, the house offers a range of conditioned and unconditioned spaces to encourage enjoyment of the natural surroundings.
Burera District is one of the last two districts in Rwanda to receive a district hospital, which when built will serve over 400,000 people. Innovative design developed in collaboration with infectious disease specialists from Partners in Health and the Harvard Medical School will seek to mitigate and reduce the transmission of airborne disease through several systems, including overall layout, patient and staff flow, and natural ventilation.
In response to the pressing need for Los Angeles to address its tenuous relationship to its water supply, this project proposes a new water infrastructure that recharges underground aquifers by diverting used municipal water into a series of reservoir lakes throughout South Los Angeles rather than dumping it into the Pacific Ocean.
