I am enjoying training at Brill’s Karate very much. From my first class I was impressed by the rapport Master Brill has with his students. They have an abiding mutual respect. Master Brill treats everyone, regardless of age, with humility and deference; and everyone in turn responds to this, even the small kids. I highly recommend Brill’s Karate for anyone – child or adult – looking for quality martial arts training.

Master Barry is wonderful with the kids. He’s super patient but expects them to follow rules. For the little ones (my son is 5) he makes the instruction very fun while still practicing skills. We checked out a few other schools and ultimately chose this one based on a competitive price and the fact my son thought it was the most fun.

5/5 stars! Master Barry at Brill's Karate is great with kids. My son loves going. His classes are full of fun activities that keep their attention while learning age appropriate applicable self-defense skills. He is also great with kids who find it challenging to follow direction and/or stay focused. Class times are flexible and your not treated like a number or a dollar sign. You can tell Master Barry really cares about his academy and keeping his students happy. I would absolutely recommend his academy.

Highly recommend brill's karate! my four year old looks forward to going every week. it's a positive environment for children to thrive-- learning self defense skills, along with self respect & confidence! master barry is always so welcoming & sensei lew is truly phenomenal with the kids! so glad we found this school!

I have been a student at Brill’s Karate for almost ten years and I love it!!
The atmosphere is very relaxed, yet the students learn very important lessons in self defense. We also learn about focus, respect for ourselves and others and the workout is great! From the time I’ve started to now I felt a sense of family and togetherness with my fellow classmates and their families. Brill’s Karate (especially Master Brill) emphasizes personal goals, and works with your abilities to help achieve them!

Brill’s Karate is a great school for everyone!! I’ve been going here for over seven years and never had a bad experience, every day was something fun and exciting! All the instructors are really nice, patient, supportive people, that want to help you do your best. At Brill’s Karate, you’re taught a wide variety of techniques ranging from open hand strikes, sparring and grappling, to an assortment of weapons. There’s always something new to learn and you learn something new everyday!

Brill’s Karate is a place I’ve been with for about 8 years now. Even my family members are students there. I started when I was only about 9 or 10 and have been there since. Now throughout those years I have had to take some breaks due to health issues but I was always supported and welcomed back with open arms.
The environment is one of the most friendly and family like places I have been. We all know how to keep things fun and enjoyable but at the same time still be taught the seriousness of martial arts. It’s the perfect balance of fun and learning for all ages.

I absolutely love Brill's karate and would recommend it both adults and kids. I started out at 10 years old and I have been going there for 11 years. I learn so much in every class and have grown so much as a martial artist and a person through my training. Master Barry Brill as well as the rest of the instructors are friendly, patient, and great at karate!

Brill's Karate is an excellent school with great students and a very knowledgeable instructor. I am a long time practitioner of Shaolin Kempo Karate and I've been training at this school for over a year now. I'm always excited to attend and train with Master Barry and the other instructors at the school. The school environment is very friendly and they make learning fun. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to learn or improve their martial arts skills.

Great Karate School. My son has been coming here for 3 years (starting as a Peewee moving into the Juniors class), and my daughter has been here for a little under a year as a little dragon, and they both absolutely love it.

My son was a student at Barry Brill Karate. He was only 4 and very rambunctious. He thoroughly enjoyed the karate classes and looked forward to practicing each week. For the last 18 months, my family of five have been studying martial arts under the guidance of Master Barry Brill. It is something we all share.
