Awarded "Best of Walnut Creek" in 2009-2014! Dr. Scott Pope was also the winner of the CMUS Talk of the Town Award for Excellence in Customer Service.
Amanda was born and raised in Walnut Creek and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2010 after graduating from Chabot College. She furthered her education at Cal State East Bay, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in human development with an emphasis in early childhood. She is passionate about improving the health of her patients while providing the utmost quality and compassionate care.
Carol has been a practicing Registered Dental Hygienist with over 40 years experience. She received her Associate of Science Degree in 1977 from Foothill Junior College in Los Altos Hills, CA. Carol has worked in a local Periodontal practice for the last 26 years, as well as working for Pope Dental since 1996.
Kasey came to Pope Dental in 2016 with 25 years of dental insurance experience, including both employee management and large employer group customer service. She has had the opportunity to serve Pope Dental patients as the Front Office Manager and the first face the patients see as they enter the practice.
Lisa has been a practicing Registered Dental Assistant since graduating from Diablo Valley College in 1979. She has worked at Pope Dental for over 25 years and considers the staff part of her family. She prides herself in making her patients feel comfortable and at ease, letting them know what is happening during their appointments.

I had the pleasure of transferring over to Pope Dental after my amazing dentist, Dr. Julie Greenlaw joined the team. They are conveniently located in downtown Walnut Creek with ample street parking along with a parking lot.
Service: Every single person I encountered - from the front desk to billing to the person who took my night guard mold and the random person who answered my phone...they have all been amazing.
Office: The people make this office. Their energy and vibe have been nothing but positive. It's like endorphins on constant circulation.

STAY AWAY !!! Patient care and patient time is not a priority at this practice. My appointment was changed 3 times on my last visit due to doctor not being available, and they attempted to change my next appointment again due to doctor not being available. One would think they would honor their commitment, as the patients do, once the appointment is made, but no such luck!

The receptionist is extremely rude. I tried to book an appointment as a new patient and she very rudely insisted I must have a ssn to have insurance and that my insurance would never let me have an account without one . Well I do have insurance and my visa is in process . I decided to look elsewhere . You should take that receptionist off the phone she’s awful

I’ve been a patient of Pope Dental since the late Eighties and been very pleased with their service! Here’s a example why, a short time ago I was flossing my teeth and a crown suddenly came off. I immediately called Pope Dental and they were able to see me within a half hour! Dr Mojica resealed my crown and thankfully, I was in and out in minutes! Thank you Dr Pope, Dr Mojica and entire staff for your great service over all these years!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Scott Pope for most of our dental care over the past 10 years or longer. Using state-of-the-art technology along with his top-notch technical expertise and skills / dexterity, Dr. Pope performs procedures efficiently and with the utmost care and comfort to his patients, not to mention providing superior outcomes for work related to fillings, crown restorations, chipped tooth repair, etc. Based on my family’s protracted experience under the practice, I find Pope Dental to be reliable, honest and trustworthy.

It's my first visit here for an intake assessment for a major problem (i.e., implant) that will require a lot of work in the coming months. The staff (Dr. Pope, Serena & Julie) was friendly, engaging & efficient. Front end perceptions:
+ I especially like their use of technical outreach to complete the battery of patient forms,

I love the staff at Pope Dental. I see Dr. Mojica as my dentist and David, as my dental hygienist. They are always gentle, friendly, and take their time to answer any questions or concerns. The front office staff is helpful and friendly as well. The wait time is generally less than 5 minutes too. Overall, I get excited to go to the dentist because I know it’s going to be a positive experience.

Dr. Scott Pope has been my dentist for many years now. He is truly the best one in Contra Costa County. His office is equipped with the latest and greatest dental technology around. Dr. Audrey is also an excellent dentist at Pope Dental. The dental hygienists, dental assistants and staff give patients exceptional customer service.
