David and his staff are AMAZING! I have suffered major dental trauma in my life and HATE to go to the dentist as a result.

Dr. David Nisenboym graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Russian language. He then attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from San Francisco's University of the Pacific Dental School in 2013.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Nisenboym and everyone who works at this practice! I moved away for school and went to a different dentist who told me I needed thousands of dollars of unnecessary dental work, crowns and a possible root canal. I went back home to see Dr. Nisenboym for a second opinion and he was able to fix all my issues with simple and hugely less expensive filling. The dental hygienists are all great as well, and Bobby took the time to show me a much better way of brushing and flossing with a mirror so I could see exactly what he was doing. I went in for some restorative dental work which the doctor and crew did quickly and well.
I have been going here for a few years and find the doctor to be very skilled. He works efficiently and never recommends unnecessary work. I particularly like that he genuinely cares about achieving the best long-term result rather than do cookie-cutter solutions or never-ending costly treatments that many other dentists are notorious for.

As always, it is a pleasure to walk in to Dr. Nisenboym's office. You are greeted with a warm smile by the front desk team. How can I tell with face masks, you ask? They smile with their eyes. My hygienist, Bobby, was fantastic and awesome! He and Dr. Nisenboym answered all my questions and concerns and provide their best medical recommendations.
I moved from Walnut Creek to the city. After 3 years, I continue to see Dr. Nisenboym because of all the reasons I mentioned. See you guys in 4 months for my next exam and cleaning.

I have been going to Dr Nisenboym for over a year now and I have truly never had a better dental team. He seems to be very well versed on the newest technology and procedures - for one, I had to get a new crown and they took pictures of my mouth for the impressions (no need for the tray and usual sticky material) AND made the crown in office during my appointment. Outside of that, both Dr. and his hygienist Bobby do a great job of teaching and explaining how to take better care of your teeth. I always take their advice seriously and there have been visible improvements in my hygiene as a result

Like many others - I moved to the east bay during the pandemic - and with said move required finding new providers for vision, health, and dental. I am so pleased to have found Dr Nisenboym's office as he and the staff are incredibly friendly, professional, calming, kind, and gentle in their care.

I haven't been to the dentist since 2019 and with the pandemic, it would be awhile till doing so. I had moved and wasn't able to see my old dentist and dresded trying to find a new one. My sister always raved about how much she likes her dentist and she always had a wonderful experience with them - so when the pandemic lifted as much as it is now, I scheduled an appointment.
I l, for one, always hate going to the dentist but with them, I felt at ease/comfortable. Everyone in that building is enjoyable to talk to and they make sure that you understand what they've discussed with you before moving

While not my actual dentist (the office is in CA and I live in NY), during a trip to CA I needed to see a dentist urgently. Dr. Nisenboym was suggested to me by many people, and after my visit, it's clear why!
His office is modern and clean, the staff is super friendly, and Dr. Nisenboym himself is excellent! His attention to detail, bedside manner, and dedication to quality dentistry using the latest and advanced techniques in dentistry has made him my favorite dentist on the west coast.

Their office is clean, tidy and efficiently run. The staff are friendly and always addressing me by name. I never felt rushed and appreciated seeing Dr. Neisenbolm after my cleaning, making a quick inspection of my mouth and teeth. He also asked the hygienist if he observed any issues while preforming the cleaning, which gave me confidence that the office operates as a team.

This rating is directed toward the policy of the clinic to charge $100 for less than 24-hour cancellations. While I understand that cancellations should ideally be over 24 hours, so they could fill that spot, in these COVID times, I think establishments need to be more flexible. It is supposedly stipulated in the contract when you first sign as a client of the clinic but who remembers those things? They should at least give you a friendly reminder, which I did not receive during the several calls I made to schedule and reschedule that late cancellations have a penalty.

Dr. Nisenboym is seriously the best dentist I've ever had. I had to have quite extensive work done with crowns, root canals, inlays and some minor cavities. I was scared because it was so much. He and his staff took complete care of me. All my procedures were painless. Any questions and concerns are addressed easily even monetary ones. Liza at the front desk is LITERALLY an angel. Belinda and Yessi are great and personable hygienists. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Questionable billing to MetLife Dental PPO and charge to patient.
Well, I just realized this. Just one month after a bad car accident that left me with a broken wrist, I tripped and chipped and cracked my front tooth. I checked on yelp for Endodontist and David came up. So, I call and explain that I need an appointment for an endodontist because I've possibly cracked my tooth. They told me kindly that I could come in. Well guess what? He's a general dentist and can't do anything about my cracked tooth. I was referred to Dr. Nisenboym by several colleagues that I work with. I admit I was like most folks and nervous about finding a new Dentist.
I was especially nervous because my appointment was for an extraction and involved IV sedation. I was so happy that I was referred to this Dentist.
The staff made me feel extremely comfortable. They were all welcoming, attentive and warm. Alicia the dental assistant calmed me down completely because I was worried about the IV, and I have to admit Dr. Nisenboym has golden hands.

So happy to have switched to Dr. Nisenboym. After only switching about 4 months ago, he's done several fillings for me.
Recently I broke off part of my tooth and he didn't hesitate to see me on his day off!
The office staff is also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Nisenboym.
