Denison Family Karate
Martial arts is a fun and beneficial sport among our children here in north Texas. Our students tell us they are having great fun in class and they are learning to succeed. Our program inspires students to show more respect, develops self discipline & self control and it is all wrapped in fun. We take great pride in the quality of student we produce.

Right now our current Introductory Special is $75, which includes one month of classes, a full uniform and belt! We accept enrollment and payment by telephone as well as in person. This is a great way for your loved one to enjoy physical activity inside a safe & comfortable martial arts school which is inside Parkside Recreation Center at 301 N Lillis Lane, Denison; just behind CVS Pharmacy.

Sam Perez is a wonderful instructor. He is patient/kind with the kids but demands excellence. My kids have developed confidence and leadership under his instruction. I highly recommend this studio.

Our kids have enjoyed their time at Denison Family Karate. They've not only improved and learned in martial arts skills but in social and life skills as well. Mr. Perez takes time to teach them to use their skills for "right not might" when he has mat chats about bullying, lying, stealing and more. We are grateful for their investment in the community!

I have nothing but great things to say about Denison Family Karate. My son was once quiet and withdrawn, but now four years after his experiences and training in martial arts, he is a first degree black belt with enormous perseverance and self confidence. He attends class as much as possible and enjoys the teachers and the other students as well.

Denison Family Karate has been one of the best things we have ever done for our kids. They have learned so much, they have matured and become more outgoing (they used to be very shy), they have learned how to be helpful to others, putting the needs of others before their own. They really enjoy learning the karate moves and techniques that are taught by Mr. Perez, I know because they practice at home and they spend as much time as they can at karate school!! Mr. and Mrs. Perez are always friendly, professional, polite and super helpful too when there is a need. I love the way the school is run,

My son has been with this school for over 7 years. This school is managed extremely efficiently. Classes begin and end promptly on time. While students are challenged, I believe each student is seen as an individual with personal strengths and weaknesses taken into account. It is an honor for my son to be taught by Mr. Perez. There is no question that my son will grow to be a better man for the time he has spent with Mr. Perez. I am amazed at what the students can physically do, and equally so with the quality of character seen in the students who have spent much time in this school. Not only is

Our daughter has been attending classes at Denison Family Karate for over three years since she won a free month as a prize in an essay contest. By the end of the month she was hooked and so were we. It was easy to see that Mr. Perez was a teacher at heart, dealing with the kids (young and old) with patience, encouragement and professionalism.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Perez are awesome role models who go above and beyond to provide lots of special events for members and families. They run a very organized business, but most importantly, it is obvious they care about their members and their community

My son has been in Karate for 2 years. He has learned more than martial arts and self defense. I have witnessed the growth of my son into a mature young person. He has learned the importance of respect and honor. Not only has my son learned, but I have as well. I don't feel like I am someone paying to have my child take a class, I feel as though I am part of a family with Mr and Mrs. Perez and even some of the other parents. Being a single mom of an extremely high maintenance child, I can only express that Karate has given him a different kind of confidence and a strong attitude all
