Way more than just a hint of soul! I decided to try Hint of Soul after finding them here on Yelp! On our first visit, we ordered the Chicago Sweet Heat wings, Lemon Pepper wings, Garlic Parm wings, the Kickin' Kajun Chicken Alfredo, Granny's Collards, the 7 Cheese Baked Mac and Cheese, and the Crown Royal Peach Cobbler. EVERYTHING was delicious. I can't wait for them to return(fingers crossed) to online orders.

My friends and I were in Phoenix for a girls weekend and booked chef Lynn for a personal chef experience. I WISH SHE WAS LOCAL TO ME! I would literally book her for everything...even day to day meals. Her cooking is PERFECTION and her great personality makes it even better! Her food is made with love. She was on time, professional, and left the kitchen in better condition than she found it. Thanks again chef Lynn!!

Come on Chef Lynn!!!!!! Yassss!!! The tablescape was done by the chef and team. Exceeded our expectations!!! For the food - Excuse the bacon off the salmon but sliders lol I didn’t take a pic of mine and the person who sent the video doesn’t eat pork🙄 it was delicioussssss omg🤤 I also missed taking a pic of the very berry pecan salad. Whew! The salmon shrimp mash and asparagus was good but the cake stole the entire night! I do not like chocolate cake but That cakeeeeee! Okay!

Chef Lynn is absolutely AMAZING. We hired her for a private dining event for me and 6 of my closest friends. The food was award winning and the service was top notch. I can't wait to come up with another reason to have her. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I know good food when I see it... I knew they was gon be bomb. This place is a must try. Chicken is crisp and tasty. Definitely recommend and Definitely the best in Phoenix. Beats Lolos and Mrs whites all day

Best soul food in Arizona.. Everything on the menu is delicious but my go to is the Cajun pasta and peach cobbler.. What makes this place great now not only the food but her customer service is A1... and that in itself keeps me coming back

Looking for that Midwest flavor?? This is the spot. From smothered chicken to cajun shrimp pasta, this is where its at. Don't forget to try their greens and their cobbler. Sooooo good!!! When my chicago family come in town, I know what we having for sure. Keep it up

Maurisha provided a catered dinner for my husband's birthday. The food was absolutely amazing. She provided stuffed salmon with crab, shrimp, bacon and cheese, chicken stuffed with mozzarella and spinach, greens, spinach, Mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and my husband's favorite peach Hennessy cobbler. We absolutely recommend her any catering needs. I can't wait to get back and try her other dishes. Thanks again.

Food was okay but over priced. I probably won't be back strictly because of the price. I paid 35 for wings and sides. See size of sides in the photos.

This has been the best food I have had in a LONG LONG TIME, the lady was super sweet and I loved that sound of her voice over the phone. I knew my food was gonna be made with love. And that’s exactly what happened, she made my food with love and gave me an extra peach cobbler because the energy was just right. Ate this meal on the night of the Blue moon and I was so Fullllll. The food so SO GOOD, will be coming back for more.

Fresh to az from the Midwest and looking for some good ole comfort food? Chicken, pasta, seafood, they have it. Make sure to grab some cobbler too..This place is very good. Portions were more than enough. P.S. them Sweet heat wings...maaaaaannnnnnnn. check them out

I had the wings & mac .. it was sooo good! The wings especially ! The flavor was one of a kind and they were crunchy with lots of flavor ! Was sad it was sold out but had some of a friends and it was truly amazing. Definitely will be ordering again ! Glad Arizona is getting more Black Owned Soul Food Places.

Better than expected, ordered the shrimp feast, peach Hennessy wings and garlic parmesan wings. Wings still had a nice crunch, flavor was outstanding. More than enough to share with the shrimp feast, we ordered extra corn, potatoes and sausage. The snap of the sausage and flavor brought back memories. Will definitely keep this place on my list of favorites. Forgot to take a photo of before but as you can see we loved it.

I can’t say enough about this establishment!!! The food is AMAZING; Every thing I have ever ordered from here has been delectable. The wings, OMG, will make you want to slap somebody they’re so good and the mac & cheese is nothing I’ve ever had before; good to the last noodle! Yum. Yum. Yum!!!!

I have been craving some really good soul food, so I ordered online and picked up. They were exactly on time for my order and the food was excellent. I ordered fried chicken that comes with cornbread. I also ordered yams and mac and cheese. The cornbread melted in my mouth and was heavenly. Mac and cheese was bursting with different cheese flavors, and cooked perfectly aldente. Yummy yams were also perfectly cooked and splendidly seasoned. Tried this place after looking online for soul food in Tempe and it was amazing. The cornbread is really the star of the show and I definitely recommend getting multiple with your order (wish they sold pans of it) its wonderfully soft and crumbly and extremely flavorful. We ordered the fried chicken, both smothered and fried, and they were both delicious. We also ordered the mac and cheese and the collards which were both good and I would definitely order the collards again as they a delight.

I was searching for a soul food restaurant in Tempe and stumbled upon Hint of Soul online. I saw that they had peach Hennessy wings and I was immediately sold. I basically ordered one of everything for me and my family to try. The location was a little hard to find and the pick up system could use some work but the food made up for it.

I ordered the peach Hennessy wings, garlic Parmesan wings, lemon pepper wings, Mac n cheese, greens and yams. Everything was divine. Please do yourself a favor and check out Hint of Soul

I can't even tell you the level of customer service here. We ordered on grubhub, and for some reason we never received our food. We got a call from the restaurant stating what happened and that they would be glad to replace the order. We told them it was okay and that we would contact grub hub to rectify the situation because it was at their end. We never replaced the order, but they were kind enough to do it anyway and they did it for free. The food was also super yummy. My kids a picky eater, and still ate everything we got her! THE CORNBREAD IS SO GOOD!!!

I heard about this place on Facebook after the covid shut down began to lift. I was so excited to hear about a Soul Food restaurant in Tempe just a minute away from Tempe Marketplace. It's located in the Tempe Food Court along with a variety of other little restaurants. I love supporting small local businesses. I waited until seafood Saturday to go and I wasn't disappointed. I preordered my food the night before and was able to set my time for pick up. The staff responded promptly and professionally. This week I got takeout from the Tempe location and it was delightful!! Super crispy flavorful wings and the blackened chicken Cajun alfredo has been on my mind ever since. So happy to have found this place.

My husband hired Hint of Soul to create a birthday experience for me in Rocky Point Mexico. They came to Mexico and prepared a dinner for our party of all of my favorites!! It was an experience like none other! I recommend using hint of soul because the Owner will take your likes and elevate them and give you a food EXPERIENCE
