Services
We offer same day scheduling, reduced waiting room times, convenient parking, house calls/longer appointment times if necessary and after-hours access to the doctor. We have an onsite lab, phlebotomist and EKG. We can evaluate minor injuries and treat with suturing or splinting where necessary. As an independent provider, Dr. Thakkar will refer patients to the very best specialists, not just those attached to a group.
Years of experience working for larger organizations have taught him that patients like to see the same doctor whenever they wish. He feels that he is finally able to practice medicine the way he wants to, without all the strings attached with a larger organization. He believes that smaller practices can offer better quality care as doctors can really get to know their patients.

And that is exactly why we accept insurance so that you are released of the financial stress related to medical expenses and can completely focus on getting yourself cured.
If you are a new patient plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time. If you have access to the internet, go to the Download Forms Section on our Website and download, print and fill out 'New Patient Registration Form' and 'Medical History Form' and bring them with you. This will save time and expedite the registration process on arrival.

Dr. Thakkar is always pleasant, kind, and professional!
Also wanted to give a special mention to Elona(I think that's how you spell her name). I believe she is the clinic manager plus she does referrals. I needed a last minute emergency referral for my surgery and she went out and beyond to help me out. She took care of everything even though a lot of it wasn't even her responsibility!

Tried to schedule my yearly checkup and the receptionist was so rude! When I told her their open dates didnt work and I would have to call back after I check my schedule she yelled at me and said to find a new doctor and if I tried to book an appointment she would just cancel it and I need to be careful because she has access to all my records. She said her name was maybelle but who knows is she made that up. She needs to be fired. I haven't been a patient for multiple years yet they still keep calling and threatening me. Also to their response I only canceled ONCE and that was because there was

This doctor malpracticed on me. I had pneumonia and he told me I had “inflammation in the bronchioles” because he doesn’t know how to read chest X-rays. He should have sent me to a pulmonologist, instead he wasted 3 months prescribing me medicines and scheduling appointments with me. He prescribed me prednisone for 5 days which caused my pneumonia to relapse and my condition to worsen. I found this out after visiting a pulmonologist who diagnosed me accurately.

Dr. Thakkar is caring ,careful with her work, and always willing to listen to any concerns you may have. Her office is clean and welcoming. Her staff friendly and willing to assist. I recommend this practice and have had a good experience so far. It is never easy to find a new doctor, but I am very glad to have been refereed to her.
