I picked up dinner from Cheff Scott's tonight ... I'm so sad that I waited so long to try this restaurant (moving soon)! It was great. We tried Miso Soup, Vietnamese Eggroll, Gyoza, 3 rolls - Spicy Tuna, Popcorn, KBG ... all were great! We'll be back for sure.

The food was amazing! Loved the atmosphere (wonderful octopus and mermaid paintings!) and our server was very friendly. While it was definitely worth the wait, I'm glad one of my friends prepared me for the wait! We will be back again soon!

Excellent sushi grade fish. to date, I have not found better Sushi in this area. The quality of fish was very high and it was fresh and the correct temperature. The wait staff and chefs were very kind and gave excellent service. it is also reasonably priced.

I've eaten sushi all over the place and maybe that's why I don't quite get the almost cultist response to this place.
Don't get me wrong, the sushi was good but I've had better at other coast restaurants.
Service was a little lacking and the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review.
All in all a good place to eat but don't expect it to live up to the hype of other patrons.

This is the second time that I have eaten here, and I was not disappointed either time. I highly recommend trying the octopus salad. It's absolutely amazing! Also the calamari is the best I've ever had. Last, but certainly not least, the sushi is some of the best on the gulf coast.
The first time I ate here, Chef Scott introduced himself to me and my SO after our meal, he gave us complimentary Blue Fin Tuna. Our experience here is one we'll never forget!

So I guess they don't like negative reviews as I'm rewriting mine, AGAIN. But I don't mind :)
First issue, you served newer customers after you sat us first and left us waiting, the food took over an hour to come out to my group of 3, and the food came out warm. Sushi isn't supposed to come out warm, to a customer, that's been waiting over an hour... if you want better service and food, go to rock n roll sushi or samurai in D'iberville. Dont waste your time here.

I travel for a living, and this is my favorite place to get sushi in the entire country! Can’t beat this place. Do yourself a favor and order the “spicy relationship” roll

The sushi is really, really good! What led up to it was less than satisfactory. My partner and I went during normal dinner time on a week night. The dining room was about 1/4 full. From the time we ordered it took 55 minutes to get our orders! We didn't order anything fancy, just a couple of rolls each. The wait was WAY too long for casual dining! The prices are high for OS but reasonable IMO for the product. One other critique is the use of non-reusable plastic forks with our salads. The sushi was bomber but the delivery was lacking and unapologetic.
