Me- when I ordered my lunch, I didn't realize that one of my portions would be in large chunks of raw fish. I do not like large portions of raw fish and I can't eat this
Server- *rolls eyes* and begins to walk to the next table...
LIKE?? RUDE.
Me- excuse me but it's pretty obvious that you're upset so I'll just take the check and a box.
Server- *aggresively responds* so what do u want as replacement?!
Me- I'll just take the check and box.
He brings my check and forgets the togo box. I ask again and he finally brings it not saying a word.. never will I go back to Hibachi Express on lunch break

Good drinks service, nice portions, fair price.
Compared to other similar places I've been to, the food was slightly below average, and the "show" part of the cooking was lame. All the items seemed to have the same two flavor sauces, not exciting. There were no dipping sauces given, we did get "yum-yum" after specifically asking for it.
And don't get me started on cleanliness . . .yuk.

Cooking equipment is good condition. Good chefs. Good service. Old chairs to sit in. Chicken hibachi $18.95. Very good! More than I can eat in one serving. For the quality and quantity, price is not that bad.

Our food was delicious but due to the waitress we will probably never be back. We reserved the party room for lunch and there was 10 of us-6 adults, 4 kids. From the time Our waitress walked in she was frazzled and complained about everything. We showed up 20 minutes early, apologized and let them know we didn’t mind waiting. We were assured the room was ready and all was well. It took a little while for the waitress to come in which was fine but she came through the door complaining about the hostess not telling her we were there. We walked past her on the way to the party room. We asked for

We had two grills. The older man, whom I assumed would have more experience, serving at the other grill could not get his lighter to work so he threw it across the room and said "I guess no fire today". I thought it was a joke. I thought surely he would get another lighter. Especially when the other chef came to the station with his working lighter. But no. And the fire is the main attraction of hibachi! Our chef was fine. Food was good. We had a big flash of flame but no onion volcano or anything like that.

Honestly, the service was excellent and the food way great. This would have been a 5 star review...
But then I went to the bathroom.
The women's bathroom is VILE. The toilet is disgusting, the floor behind the toilet has brown gunk on the floora, the mirrors have not seen a rag in months at least, and even after washing my hands thoroughly, that sink did not allow me a clean feeling.
There's no excuse to have a bathroom that nasty.

I would not recommend this place. I went with my mom and ordered Steak and shrimp fried rice and she got chicken and shrimp and it only tasted good with the yum yum sauce. The rice made my head hurt and was not cooked properly. I'll most likely never eat here again!

Good Hibachi in MIssissippi!

Coming home from a busy Lundi Gras in NOLA we stopped by Hibachi Express to have dinner. They were closing in 20 mins but for a fairly short amount of time spent here our dining experience was pleasant and food came fast. I think there was another party aside from us dining at that time. It was a fairly quiet evening for the restaurant.

Our food came fast! We had egg flower soup to begin with which was perfect on a cold, rainy evening. The Gyoza was good too. The chicken teriyaki was brought to us sizzling hot and nicely presented. The portions were reasonable. All

The food was extremely salty. The rice, veggies, meat, & noodles tasted awful because they were so salty. The chef we had that was preparing our hibachi dinner was lousy. He was attempting to do tricks but instead he was dangerous and sloppy. He dropped the first sticks on the ground twice. He dropped the salt and pepper shaker on the ground. It was a mess. My family and I will not be going back.

Our waitress seemed clueless. Our soup and salad bowls were never removed. The worst part of our experience was the cook was rude and seemed mad. He left the griddle dirty and and heat on, leading to it smoking in our faces. Seemed as though on purpose. Food wasn't great. Will never go back.

My review is based on an order from Waiter that was delivered. The writeup isn't about Waitr the delivery was on time and the Orr was correct.

This review is about poor food preparation, poor quality and based on those , overpriced.

Chicken and Shrimp Habachi - poor food quality high price 23$. Description: chicken bits smaller than dice precooked and reheated with soggy veggies. Basically precooked and microwaved then .add teriyaki sauce. Yakisoba was alright and egg drop soup wasn't fresh but not bad.

Fried Rice..never saw a pan. Rice mixed with Soy then tossed w egg.

Tuna bomb

Had the steak and scallop hibachi dinner with a Mississippi Roll. I really enjoyed everything about the Hibachi dinner - the show was funny and warm. Steak and scallop grilled with butter and garlic. Fried rice: *drool*. And noodles with vegetables go good together especially as the Vegetables were a little al dente. I really think the roll was the pinnacle of the dinner; some spicy tuna and it was done very well .. would like to go back and try every other roll that's on the menu. Kudos to a great dinner.

We got some cheap sushi rolls, that were very large and tasty for 5$ (the Alaskan and a eel avocado roll)...we then pushed our luck and tried the salmon sashimi which was a large portion but was not the best tasting unfortunately... the staff was very friendly and they do give a military discount. we will be searching for another sushi place in town but might come back for the hibachi experience.

Used to go here on a regular. Went one day, grill was dirty, table was dirty, HE cook was so heavy handed with the food, when putting it on the plate food was missing the plate and falling on the table. Silverware was dirty, bowl of soup had food all on the bottom....we stopped going for a while..oh, bathrooms nasty..today against out better judgement, we decided to try again since they have an A grade...well, again, Table was dirty, a bug was floating in my BF water...sooo we end up leaving. Oh, we did visit the bathroom, still dirty! Definitely wont be back anymore. Used to be our go-to

Went here because my son wanted to go for his graduation dinner. The waitress took great care of us. Our order was taken quickly and the chef made the grandkids laugh and they really enjoyed it. The steak and shrimp was wonderful and the grandkids split a chicken dinner and ate it all. The only thing that was wrong was the Japanese drink that my son wanted was completely sold out. He sighed but still enjoyed himself.

Waitress, not that great. Drinks took 20 minutes. Egg drop soup was bland af. Hibachi service was amazing though.... Side note. Two people in our party ordered sesame chicken. Took longer than our hibachi. Waitress forgot about it. Came out cold. Waitress said she could "microwave it." Not acceptable. Sadly, star review is because of her.

Out of towners stopping for a quick bite. There was nothing express about this place. We ordered 2 steak and shrimp lunches. Waited 25 minutes. Received gyoza's on the house for the wait. The clerk was apologetic which was good. The food was tasty. Dining area was clean. I suggest ordering in advance if you're on your lunch break.
