Kingston Springs Animal Hospital was opened by Dr. Chris Shew in 1989. Our clinic has been serving the pets of Kingston Springs and the surrounding areas since. We pride ourselves on the excellent quality of care given to every pet that walks in our doors. We look forward to taking the best care of your pets.
Dr. Shew received his Bachelors Degree in Animal Science in 1980 and graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He opened Kingston Springs Animal Hospital in December of 1989 and has lived in Kingston Springs since early 1990. He has two grown children. His outside interests include fishing, hiking, travel, and spending time with his family.

Best vet ever!!!! Our bully loves Dr. Sheu and so do we. He helped us when we thought the prognosis on our pup’s knee issues were grim. He goes the extra mile and his staff is fantastic. They all love animals, but they are also all such a blessing to work with on a personal level. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Kingston is such an amazing vet facility. They have taken in my baby twice in last moments notice under emergency for stitches. This vet has been the FIRST vet that I have ever felt comfortable leaving my dog. My dog trusts them, and I trust them to take care of him. An amazing, truly caring staff. Also knowing how to take care of big boys is A+ in my book ❤️

A personal thank you to the outstanding staff at Kingston Springs Animal Hospital! When My Nova was brought in they went way out of their way to help! Close to closing time they decided she needed surgery and without hesitation proceeded to do it! They worked 2 hours after close to save her life! The Doctors and staff were and are truly Animal lovers! I would reccomend them without hesitation! Thank you especialy Dr Shew who wouldn't give up on my girl! Thank you!

Our 17 year old kitty cat was seen by Dr. Shew and Dr. Wilters. They are the kindest, most wonderful vets ever. They took a lot of time examining our kitty, answering all of our questions, and helping us become comfortable with some important changes in his health. We greatly recommend this hospital!! The doctors and staff are the best!

From the ladies at the front counter to the doctors everyone was amazing and very friendly. Brought my boxer in for what I thought was a broken tail lucky we found out it was not broken and she has happy tail lol. They were very accommodating and answered all of my questions in a patient and professional manner. I will definitely being using them for all my vet needs.
