Fantastic in every way Saranac Lake was mobbed from tourism to the ice castle so we decided that we would find lunch further on our trek heading back to CNY from the ADK. We were thrilled to find Well Dressed Food on Trip Advisor and even more thrilled to find they were OPEN ON A WINTER SUNDAY!
Then we got there and found an amazing store front with radiators, wooden floors and a counter that looked as if we just might have been transported back 50 years! We chose table service with a nice front window seat. They have a great menu and put out a couple of damn good burgers made from local beef!

I came in for breakfast and had salmon on an everything bagel. It was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing. The herbed cream cheese is the best I've ever had. Love the restaurant decor and the delicious retail products available. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I am in town again. Highly recommend! 👍👍

Enjoyed a lovely and delicious Western Omelette with crispy well seasoned home fries this morning at this cute newley opened cafe. Salsa and Sour cream were offered for no charge. Atmosphere is great with social distancing in place. Service very friendly and they made sure everything was prepared to our liking. Sorry no photo I devoured it! I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! We were visiting Tupper Lake for the week and came here to eat several times because we loved the food so much. Their coffee drinks were great as well. My favorite item on the menu was the parmesan crusted chicken panini, I also had their queso fries which were equally as delicious. I was going to take a picture of my meal, but ate it too quickly so I took some pictures of their dining area instead, which has a cute and quaint vibe to it. Honestly, you really cannot go wrong with anything that you order there. You will seriously regret not stopping

If only the staff were as nice as the bathroom. Only way to describe the worker was unprofessional, unkind, & overall unfriendly; the woman taking our order acted like we were a burden and inconvenience. We were 4/7 people in the store and instead of telling us our food was ready she let us stand around for 25 minutes with the bag sitting on the counter. Even if the sandwich was good it was not worth it for the customer service we received. We always stop on our way to/from lake placid but not anymore!

Food was very delicious but staff was rude and we found a hair in our meal. We waited several minutes to talk to someone about a replacement meal, but staff seemed relatively overwhelmed by the few other customers, so we ended up leaving. Wanted to love this place but was sorely disappointed by customer service.

First the positives: welcoming, well designed space...really comfortable bar seating...surprisingly well curated (very limited) wine selection...everyone in our party had something they liked.
What could have been done better: the ordering process was confusing and annoying...bar patrons had to go to the deli counter to order and pay and go back to our seats to be served...what?
Really liked this place...hoping the owners rethink their unfriendly customer service experience

Let me begin by saying that the food at this place is typically quite good. Although, the falafel wrap I just ate was just OK (and they forgot my pickle). I've been here a few times, and there's always a pretty long wait for the food. However, I went in for lunch yesterday at around 12:20 only to find a very long line of frustrated people waiting to order, and a worker running around behind the counter hysterically claiming that it would be over a 40 minute wait to get served. So, I bailed. However, I went back earlier today, around 11:30, to avoid the main lunch rush and it didn&apos

Cute place. Horrible service, outrageous prices and mediocre food. There were 3 of us in the party. They brought the first person's breakfast sandwich within 15 minutes. We waited another 30 minutes for ours. My breakfast sandwich had been sitting for awhile. It was barely warm and the cheese was congealed. I went to the counter and asked for hot sauce, he said he would bring it over, never did. Luckily the coffee was good. We won't be back.

Well I would like to say we ate there. After coming in the first thing the man said was " I don't think we have room for you." Despite open spots at the bar and two open tables. (Not including the tables labeled due to covid restrictions). Then a table cleared and as we were looking at the menu he said "Just so you know the food is going to be at least half an hour." We didn't wait for a third comment to show he didn't want our business, we took the hint & we left. Heard it's good, but I can't say.

Hard to tell from the outside, but this is a very quaint and welcoming cafe where you order your food/drink and sit down, much like a coffee shop. Has lots of market items, beer on tap, and a very farmhouse feel. Food came fast and while it didn't blow us away, it certainly did not disappoint. Staff wasn't particularly friendly, but we're fine. We walked up and down the street searching for something quick, local, healthy, and this was the best option.

Stopped in for a bite after hiking Arab Mountain. Place was nice a clean. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Panini. My mom got a mushroom soup. She really liked it. My panini was great. It seemed like they fried the cutlet fresh. Very tasty. Would definitely go back when in the area. Shout out to the well dressed man behind the counter.

Cute little place and a great selection of items, but the worst customer service we have ever seen. The front end staff was completely incompetent handling customer orders and the head chef was no help. As a result multiple customers walked out on unfilled orders that they already payed for and were waiting. Note to the staff and management, never argue with a customer. Especially in front of a restaurant full of patrons. Rude!

ADORABLE place with delicious food! The clam chowder was yummy! Lots and lots of clams! And potatoes. Not too thick. Perfect soul soother on a cold and rainy Adirondack day! The turkey club panini came on a delightful ciabatta roll with green Goddess dressing!!!
We left w a cup of fresh hot coffee and a piece of chocolate pecan pie!
The staff was very friendly!

Here for a week in Tupper Lake and it's one of my favorite spots for a quick bite or a nice lunch/dinner of any genre. Personal favorites would be the breakfast sandwich, wings or the gyro. But from the mix I've had I don't think you can go wrong.
Lots of interesting sauces/mixes are also for sale in a market in the store.

We stopped here for lunch while driving through. The food here was really good. It did take a while to get our food. The line was rather long to order when we went and there was a mistake in the kitchen so out order took longer to come out then usual. Someone did come out and thoroughly apologized for the mistake which is all I ask in this situation. We got the Well Dressed London Broil sandwich and a Gyro wrap.
The London Broil was on panini'ed crusty bread with juicy beef, arugula, cherry tomatoes and this really good horseradish mayo. The gyro had the usual suspects of thin slices beef

Stopped in on the way back to Buffalo for some grab and go lunch. I got the Cuban sandwich and margherita flatbread. The overall atmosphere of the place is charming and makes you want to sit and enjoy your meal.
The bread (I believe homemade ciabatta) was the perfect amount of chewy and fresh. Great pork and all of the flavors blended nicely. I am not a huge fan of flatbreads and I still remain with that opinion. The tomatoes were nice and fresh but over $12 for a small flatbread, not wood fired pizza, already premade bread isn't worth it.
We did wait an extremely long time, but that isn

The place is really cool.
It kind of reminds me of an old General store with a few tables and chairs inside by the windows to have a coffee or a soup and a sandwich.
It's very casual. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They also have a few shelves of gourmet grocery items to sell.
I just went in and had a coffee and a cookie. No joking, it has to be the best cookie I've ever had in my entire life and I'm no spring chicken. It was a salted Caramel cookie. If you find yourself there, I highly recommend you try one.
By the way, they even have a Picasso
