Services
When fine old jewelry needs restoration, your goal should be to preserve all the work that is good and repair or restore what is missing or broken so it blends seamlessly with the original. The safety of your jewelry is important to us so we've put together some shipping and handling guidelines to help protect your assets and make sure they arrive in as planned.
Arthur Gunderson opened his local jewelry business in 1923 and soon established himself as one of the most trusted jewelers in the Pacific Northwest. Philip Monroe joined him as jewelry craftsman and designer in 1965, to eventually become his professional and artistic heir, culminating in the purchase of the store in 1977.
When fine old jewelry needs restoration, your goal should be to preserve all the work that is good and repair or restore what is missing or broken so it blends seamlessly with the original. Jewelry is worn and exposed to such extreme physical stress and abuse that it's amazing any ancient pieces still exist.

Mr. Crane resized my engagement ring perfectly. It was my great grandmother's so it took a lot for me to trust him, just going off reviews. HOWEVER: He was personable, kind, and knowledgeable about my turn of the century ring. He revealed a history my family had forgotten, and took great care with making sure my size was the perfect fit. He's earned a lifelong customer.

I had the absolute best experience buying an engagement ring here. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, and really excited about the older rings they had to offer. I ended up finding the perfect one here— it’s a 1918 ring in perfect condition. Kevin Crane really made buying this ring an experience, he told us the history of the ring as well as the way he came to be a jeweler, and he took the time to talk to us about a modifications I wanted to make, swapping out the diamond for an emerald. He also designs jewelry and his own work is fantastic as well! He is a true artist in his

Mr. Crane is fantastic a true gem ;) I had a treasured heirloom ring from my great grandmother from the 1870s and I lost the center stone. I had been told the ring was un-restorable due to its age. I don't even live in Seattle but I found Crane Jewelers online and was able to ship my ring to him and not only did he find a new stone and cut it to fit in the setting but he cleaned it up and restored it back to better than it was before. The craftsmanship is stunning and he took great care to fix the ring and maintain its original elegance. He was a true professional and so lovely to work with. I
