Yoga Habit
This is how we roll! Connection with ourselves and with others is incredibly important to our health and wellbeing. WE want to connect with YOU! A physical, power yoga practice in a 90-93 degree heated room - this physically demanding practice challenges us to connect with our physical strength which helps build our inner strength.

The practice of mindfulness and meditation - we connect our mind, body and spirit which leaves us feeling clear and grounded. People! - We are an open, welcoming community that values connection with each other through our yoga practice, workshops, fun events, community service and conversation.
Services
Our studio is in an old warehouse that used to be a dye works factory in the 1800's and most recently an elevator manufacturing company. After an extensive renovation, we have our beautiful studio with tall ceilings and big windows that let in amazing natural light. HEAT - We have chosen to invest in a high quality heating system for our studio called Far Infrared Radiant heat.
Are your classes beginner friendly? All of our classes can be modified or kicked up depending on your experience level. We encourage you to jump right in! Its helpful to let your instructor know beforehand that you are a beginner - we'll make sure to keep an extra eye on you. If you would rather take it slow however, we have two Power Basics classes each week on our schedule and offer a Power Yoga 101 each month.
At Yoga Habit, our mission is to create a culture of connection with everyone who comes to our studio and it all starts with our team! If you like getting sweaty, developing your leadership skills and working on a team, please review our job listings below and fill out an application. Our New Teacher Internship is an awesome opportunity for newly trained (0-4 years) power yoga teachers to get experience and grow your teaching in a studio setting.
We are a power yoga community that focuses on a strong fluid yoga practice and breath. We combine each movement with an inhale or an exhale which helps us create flow from one pose to the next. We flow fairly quickly in the beginning of class to build heat in our bodies and slow things down at the end of class to stretch and open our muscles.
Our signature sweaty power yoga flow full of movement and breath. You will feel energized, clear and connected to better go with the flow in all aspects of your life. We will build just enough heat in our body to then slow it down and find stillness in longer held, passive poses designed to release tension, facilitate opening and work deep into connective tissue.

Everything is super cool. The people are chill. The studio is warm and relaxing. Yoga Habit made sure we all provided proof of vaccination, which makes class more open. The PowerFlow was a combination of core, balance, stretching, breathing, laughing, and relaxing. This is really a great place. My teacher was Allyssa and she is a rockstar! Namasté. ☮️

I've been going to Yoga Habit for about 6 months now, and it is fantastic. The studio is large and bright, and the classes always bring a new challenge. Most importantly, the instructors are always super kind and welcoming. I'm so glad this place is here!

This is a fantastic studio for beginners. This is a perfect studio for advanced yogis. Yes, it's both. The owner, managers, and staff are warm and inviting to all. Teachers accept you as you are or challenge you, depending on your mood — and they're great at sensing which one you need.
The studio is kept clean, and always smells good. There's helpful notches on the floor for making sure things never get too crowded, and COVID vax is required for safety.
Classes are all about matching breath to movement, with just enough repetition and creativity across teachers that you'll quickly feel at home

I love this yoga studio, I couldn't move out of the area because of this studio - great teachers, classes and people!!! Whenever I bring someone they love it too!
The classes are challenging yet the teachers encourage everyone to go at the own pace as it is their practice.
Beautiful Studio!

Basic hot yoga class, neat and clean studio. The instructor(Ella) met us at the door, brought some friends along because of reviews. However, she is the reason I will not be returning. I overheard her telling a girl to put her phone away rather harshly, which was a huge turn off. I thought yoga instructors were about peace and good vibes? On to the next one

I took my first class here and it was amazing! The Slow Flow + Restore class is the perfect mid-week reset. Nice yoga atmosphere. The instructor was great and helped with suggesting beginner alternatives to some of the more difficult positions. Highly recommend!

Pros: The instructors and staff are lovely people and it seems they have a nice community there… if you are looking for yoga inspired fitness in a hot room, this is a great fit for you!!
Every class here is basically the same sequence, with slight variations… While set- sequence classes can be transformative, this studio missed the mark with it because practically none of the poses are held for several breaths (unless you are breathing unusually fast, which is the antithesis to Ujaii and the opposite effect that yoga aims to achieve on the nervous system ).
Because the class moves so fast

This studio is such a gem! The in-studio classes are amazing - hot (but not too hot), and challenging (but not extreme). The cold lavender towels at the end of savasana are *chef's kiss*. During the pandemic, they have gotten so creative - from outdoor classes behind the nearby Eastern State Penitentiary to the streaming classes, they really pivoted well. They are also great about communication and keeping everyone updated about what the latest updates are. I will continue to enjoy their livestream classes, and am looking forward to the day we can practice in the studio again!

Friendly yoga atmosphere for beginners. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the instructor.
The facility is uber clean and I love that the yoga room is 90 degrees 🤩.
As a beginner, the fast flow classes can be a challenge, but one you should not run away from!
The instructors are all amazing, especially Annette and Gabi. They definitely make sure you feel welcomed and assist you in the yoga class.
I love that this yoga studio feels like a close knit community and I cannot wait to return!

My first class at the studio was yesterday at 9:30am and it was wonderful! Ali is a great instructor. I understood what postures she wanted us to do. From my experience some yoga instructors cues are hard to understand. I found it refreshing that I could understand. The class was challenging and intense which I like. It was definitely a workout for sure!
The studio is clean and organized. When I arrived I was greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. The cold wet towel was a nice touch at the end. I’ve never been to a class that does that.
I’ll definitely be back in the near future for

My favorite yoga studio! At first I was concerned that room would be too hot but the temperature is a nice, workable dry heat that I really appreciated. I love being able to take the slow flow and basics class in addition to the regular power flow. My favorite part: the frozen lavender towels! Would highly recommend the 21 days for $21 pass if you want to check it out.

I initially did the 21 days for 21 dollars with my roommate, which is an awesome way to feel out the studio. I was on the hunt to sign up for a yoga membership somewhere but I just wasn't exactly sure which studio yet. So I actually did trials at several other yoga studios in the neighborhood. The decision of which studio to sign up at was easy for me! Yoga Habit is clean, they give you a cold lavender towel at the end of each class to cool down, the prices are reasonable, and they even have student deals! I also noticed that the people who go to this studio seem to be more friendly as well

I love this studio! Taylor, Julie, Annette, and Casey are such great teachers. Ive been to many different studios around philly but this one is very welcoming and kind. They have a great intro offer for 21 days for $21. They also have fun classes to music and other fun workshops. The yoga habit community is very welcoming of yogis of all levels. Honestly my favorite thing about this studio is they give you a cool lavender towel to put on your face at the end of each practice. I come for the yoga but stay for that lavender towel it is the greatest thing after working up a sweat!

Great, welcoming studio. I've done everything fitness related before this but yoga was always a big weakness. After explaining I was a beginner, they told me it wasn't a big deal and really helped me feel welcome. It's not your typical "stuck-up" studio that I've tried in the past. All the instructors that I've encountered have been great, and know how to push you just enough. Highly recommended all around.

What I love most about doing yoga here...
- it's a great workout with friendly and knowledgeable instructors.
- super clean!!
- they always remember my name.
- the play music a lot of the time and makes the workout go by faster.
- cool lavender towels at the end.... ahhhmazing!
I just came back from having a baby and as soon as I walked in Ali (who works there) noticed immediately no baby and remembered my name:) it was SO nice to be back and feel like you were missed.

I took Lindsay's slow flow class on Sunday night. Her class was great from beginning to the end where she included

This was supposed to be my first visit to the studio. I was a bit late to the class (should've known public transport wouldn't be reliable) - completely my fault and can only blame myself. However, I didn't realize how strict the studio was about needing to be early to sessions. When I showed up and tried knocking on the door, no one answered. In fact, I was blatantly ignored by two women I saw inside, one who seemed like she was crouching behind a desk in order to hide her presence. I tried calling as well, which of course went to voicemail, until I saw the sign posted outside about

I use to go to Hot Box Yoga in University City but now I live in the Fairmount area so I was in search for a closer place! One of my roommates tried Yoga Habit and loved it! So now all of my roommates and I have signed up! They have a great intro pass for Yoga Habit first-timers!! You get unlimited yoga for 21 days for ONLY $21!!! Such a steal considering one drop in class is $20! They also have community classes for $5! I think those are typically on Wednesday's at 6pm but check the online schedule to be sure! This is a great affordable way to try hot yoga if you have never done it before

My boyfriend bought me a 10 class card for Christmas last year and I must say that going to the Sunday morning class has been fabulous. I use it as my recovery day after working out hard all week. I tried to spread it out and make the pass last longer. I've had many different teachers and they've all been great :) their practice is invigorating, empowering, strengthening, and above all centering. I've had nothing but great experiences here and look forward to continuing my membership in some capacity!

First of all, the $21.00 for 21 days is an awesome deal!! So worth it if you are unsure about the classes there.. it gives you enough time to really check them out.
When I first started my 21 days, I honestly thought possibly this wasn't for me as I felt I didn't mesh with the how the classes were taught (my previous studio does things quite differently) However, as time went on, I found my grove, and really look forward to my next class each week. I just signed up for a membership!
If you are an early riser and can possibly take a 6 am class, I'd highly recommend taking Danielle

Great neighborhood spot with one of the best yoga intro deals I've seen yet!

I did Yoga Habit's 21 days for 21 dollars deal a few months back and loved it. You get to take unlimited classes for that three week period, and I took full advantage of that by taking at least three classes a week (making each class under $3). It's pretty easy to take multiple classes per week if you do the $21 for 21 deal as they have classes at 6AM, 9:30AM, 4:30PM, 6PM, and 7:30 PM on weekdays, and classes at various times on weekends. I had a mix of teachers in the first 21 day period. Some I preferred

The chillest hot yoga spot in Philly. The studio has a wall of windows -- focusing on sky or outside far away objects makes my practice more fulfilling. Drishti out the window yo.

The heat is well distributed around the room. The icing on this healthy habit cake is the cool little accent at the end of class -- chilled overly damp, in a good way, lavender mini square terry towels/washcloths.

Pricing is fair when you are a once or twice a week regular, especially considering the excellent and thoughtful teachers. The accepting and encouraging staff and teachers make Habit my favorite place to

Let's be honest right off the bat. This is a HOT yoga studio. Which means the studio is heated(about 95 degrees I think) and flow of the class is a little faster.

There are a lot of instructors to choose from, they don't usually show the poses, but call them out by either name and provide guidance. Everyone's very supportive at the studio, no mirrors and classes feel free of judgement. Several scheduled classes a day, more than the other studios near me. They also provide a cold, lavender towel at the end of class, it really takes the practice to the next level.

The studio has

I was so nervous to try this studio about a year ago when I was completely new to yoga, but I'm so happy I did! I took the Yoga 101 workshop and have been hooked ever since! Every instructor is super welcoming and meets you where you're at no matter what level. They offer great adjustments and modifications so you can really get the most out of your practice whether you're a first timer or an experienced yogi. I also love how involved the studio is in the Fairmount community. The new student $21 for 21 days is a great deal, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try out yoga

My favorite! No mirrors, great adjustments and options, hot and sweaty, music only during savasana. Mat storage and complimentary filtered water and towels (mat size towel liners to avoid slipping) for members. Best part - cold lavender towel during savasana (you really earn it after an hour and 15 minutes of a hot practice!)

Favorites - Alicia's Monday 6pm class, any class taught by Jen, the Saturday and Sunday 9:30am classes.

Wishlist- would LOVE some weekend afternoon/early evening power flow classes added to the schedule.

I don't have a membership package here but my girlfriends and I will come for their 6 p.m. community yoga classes for $5. Located on the 2nd floor of the building, the studio faces Fairmount Ave. I like that they keep the windows propped open for some fresh air.

There are many cubbies and seating areas in the waiting area, as well as, a few dressing rooms. The studio is very large with tape placed in rows along the room, which makes it helpful to be spaced out properly.

The community flow class is challenging but you get a good, sweaty workout. My favorite part of the class is the cold

I hate to be the first not-5 star review for this place. It's super close to my house (yay for location!) and the space is beautiful. When I took my first class (Caitlin's yin and restorative on Sunday evenings), I was obsessed. She has such a soothing voice and you leave feeling like you are walking on clouds.

However, I tried a few other instructors during my 3 weeks for $21 (such a steal!) and didn't love any of them. The room was always SO HOT for the heated flow that I could barely see through the sweat in the my eyes (think Core Power level of hot, or maybe even more intense

So excited that Yoga Habit opened this past weekend in the Fairmount/Francisville area! I can finally sneak in those workouts early in the morning before work or right after or even on weekends!
Jen, the owner, is super nice and welcoming, and all the instructors I've tried so far are great, challenging and hands-on. The studio itself is cute and clean (very important!), and the hot yoga room has WINDOWS! I was so happy when I saw that since it's so hard to find a studio that has windows and allows the light to come in during class... Trust me, it makes a difference.
Also, they are offering
