Services
Before surgery, an evaluation and formal physical therapy program can help identify and improve any range of motion or strength deficits. The stronger you are going into surgery, the quicker you will recover afterwards. After surgery, it is imperative to be under the care and direction of a physical therapist so you can safely progress through your protocol, avoid complications, and return to function at your fullest potential.

I found myself at physical therapy for the first time after fracturing my fibula late last year. Unsure what to expect and concernedly nervous, Charlotte One on One Physical Therapy was the best possible choice I could have made. Dr. Meghan Maloney was patient, kind and had me back hiking 30 miles in no time. Dry needling not only helped my leg injury but took tension out of my back and neck after struggling for years. I really enjoyed my experience here and HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going here for a little over a year with severe back pain that will more than likely end in surgery. My back specialist suggested PT to help strengthen my core in hopes of pushing out surgery as long as possible. Since working with Katie, my day to day pain has reduced significantly . She has educated me on exercises to not only do there but also at home which has only helped with my chronic pain. If I could leave six stars, I would. One on One Physical Therapy is the BEST. Katie and everyone there are focused on one thing...the PATIENT. They are kind, attentive, and do everything they can to assist you with pain management...whether it be rehab after surgery, chronic pain, sports related injury..absolutely outstanding. They follow Covid protocols to a tee and provide a safe and warm environment during a potentially uncomfortable time. Can't recommend them enough!!

I went to Dr. Meghan Maloney and she fixed me. I had completely thrown out my lower left back in the middle of a workout and the pain was unbearable. My first appointment was to fix and ease the pain. She dry needled and provided a few exercises at point of visit. I left with relief and drastically lower pain in my back. I was able to sit and do daily tasks without being uncomfortable almost immediately. A few follow up visits and I'm now as good as new. I highly recommend Charlotte One on One and Dr. Maloney.

I went to see Katie after repeated calf strains in both legs during training for obstacle races and she not only greatly reduced my pain with it eventually resolving completely but she took an interest in my training schedule and would make weekly recommendations on how to modify to optimize my performance and prevent repeat injury. She also always checked on me after dry needling to make sure I was feeling ok, I can tell she cares deeply for her patients. The extra time and consideration that I got in the one on one setting is why I selected this practice and why I recommend it to others.
