Our extensive expertise also includes water resources, civil site engineering, utilities and structural engineering for buildings. RJM applies the highest standards of excellence to every activity of our business.
RJM has been providing engineering services for planning, preliminary and final design of road and highway projects for over two decades throughout the Baltimore/Washington and Mid-Atlantic regions. Clients we have served are the Federal Highway Administration, Maryland State Highway Administration, Virginia Department of Transportation, Delaware Department of Transportation, and many counties and local jurisdictions.
We have a long history of planning and design for passenger light rail, commuter heavy rail and freight rail transit facilities. Services have ranged from project planning and feasibility studies to track design and site engineering, as well as design/rehabilitation/repair for maintenance facilities and aerial structures.
We have extensive experience providing structural engineering for all types of transportation structures. Bridges, interchange ramps, retaining walls, sign structures, and stormwater management and drainage structures are all part of our project portfolio. RJM Engineering provided final design for the M-NCPPC park bridge over Little Monocacy Tributary along J.E.B. Stewart Trail.
We provide structural condition inspection for most types of transportation structures. Our experience in highway structures includes bridges, interchange ramps, retaining walls, cantilever and other highway signs, signal poles, highmast and other lighting poles, noise walls and culverts. Rail structures have included bridges, retaining walls, catenary poles, passenger stations, tunnels, viaducts and other aerial structures.
