During overhaul, you never know what challenges you will find. Liaison support during and major overhaul is critical for timely completion and return service of the aircraft. We provide the experience to solve the tough issues in timely manner so the aircraft can quickly return to service. Whether it is a standard repair for a unique repair our liaison engineers can provide concise instructions.
The documentation of any engineering task is of utmost importance, not only for certification but also for repetition and profitability. Engineers are often blamed for fixing a small problem by reinventing the wheel.
Any new build, major modification, or installation on an aircraft has to be certified by the FAA to make it airworthy. The certification could be a Type Certification (TC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC), or a major modification and repair (Form 337). Our on-staff Delegated Engineering Representatives (DERs) can create and approve certifications for all 14CFR Part 23, 25, 26, 27, and 29 aircraft.
