Dr. Suchita Mandair grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and is excited to be back serving her community. Dr. Mandair received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of the Pacific before attending the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD).
The first visit to the orthodontist will include a review of medical/dental history and a clinical examination to determine if and when treatment is indicated. If it is time to start treatment, additional diagnostic records are made. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular orthodontic care is continued.
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment.Another patient, who needs our care, could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends an orthodontic screening for children by the age of 7 years. At age 7 the teeth and jaws are developed enough so that the dentist or orthodontist can see if there will be any serious bite problems in the future. Most of the time treatment is not necessary at age 7, but it gives the parents and dentist time to watch the development of the patient and decide on the best mode of treatment.
The American Association for Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge: a much better chance for natural and normal development. By working with the natural growth instead of against it, we can prevent problems from becoming worse, and give your child a lifetime of healthy smiles!

My children have been coming to this office for almost 6 years. We are on our 4th orthodontist. No one tells you whats going on or why we're seeing someone completely new. No one takes notes so we have the same discussion over and over with someone new or even the same orthodontist. We've asked to have my daughters braces removed because the braces were irritating her and she was having a hard time with them but they insisted on trying to fix an over bite. When they finally listened to us a year later they made us sign a waiver saying they needed to be removed due to bad hygiene

I was scared when I came back to get my retainers. I felt like I was going to be in trouble that they were going to give me judging looks and most importantly be disappointed in me. I was. But I was wrong they helped me immediately and they didn't judge me. Martha ( a worker their) was nice and treated me well.

I have been going here for 3+ years and I love it! They are always very helpful. There has not been one time I had a bad experience here. They all are very passionate at what they do, and care about their patients! They make sure you are as comfortable as possible when going in, and making sure everything looks perfect before leaving. I would never switch to anybody else!

My daughter has been going to Jones & Foster Orthodontics for almost 3 years. She had a extreme case and has come along way. The entire staff is so friendly and always do what is best for the patient. This has been an amazing experience for her. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist. They are easy to work with!!! Thanks for all your hard work.
