The food is wonderful! The service is fantastic! My favorite Mexican Food in the area!
And a sincere bit of gratitude to the amazing owner! Last night my wallet, unknowingly, fell out of my pocket in the parking lot. This morning there was a knock at my door and the owner of the restaurant was hand delivering my lost wallet to me! This is above and beyond and shows that there are truly wonderful people in this world. Today I’m grateful for kind people!!

Unfortunately this is not a good addition to the neighborhood. First we were treated rudely by the bartender, then the waitress. I thought I would give this place another shot as you can't always go by past experiences or what other people say, in this case-it would be wise to avoid this place all together. When they first opened I supported them, but after one bad experience followed by another, and others I know reporting the same thing, my advice-spend your money elsewhere!

update I love limon e sal, my family loves Limon e Sal. But each time we got there I feel like I have to be a Karen to get my particular salsas each time. The problem is that they give red sauce like hot cakes, but are stingy with the other salsas. If i order 3 sets of tacos, I'll get 3 red salsa mini container, maybe one green one, and probably one chips salsa. How can one little chips be enough for 3 people with a bag of chips? So each time I have to flag someone down to get what I want.

My server was really awesome, paid attention to what I needed and was super friendly. She was wearing glasses and just was super sweet all around. The food was OK wasn’t the best, it lacked flavor and most importantly salt?! I had gone up to ask for something and 3 people who weren’t my server saw me and never asked what I needed. I knew my server was busy so I figured one of her coworkers would have helped me out but nope. They seemed a little too preoccupied with life outside of work. Not a good experience. Drinks were mediocre at best, and made incorrectly. Rice and beans had absolutely no flavor and lacked salt. Possibly the worst beans I have ever tasted in my life. For a place called Limon Y Sal, the salt could not be found anywhere during the meal. The service was also weak, considering the restaurant was slow our server had to be flagged down for everything. Chips & Salsa and the Al Pastor meat were the most enjoyable part of the meal. Upon checkout my card was double charged and required a refund. Would not recommend.

Have been here a couple times before - first review! Every time it's been SO good. The food, the vibes, the staff - everything is top tier. The owner felt bad that we couldn't eat inside during covid so we sat on the grass on the outside, so he came out and gave us two beers! Just took my brother here and he had the super burrito, let's just say he was so impressed he ate the entire thing (almost 10 inches long!) Thank you to the staff for taking such pride in your work and craft!! :)

Passing by Folsom and came across this amazing restaurant, the staff was amazing, super clean, the decor was beautiful and modern with a twist of artisanal Latin decor, now let's talk about the food I ordered the devil's shrimp because I like spice and it was delicious 5 stars! Also the al pastor tacos.. yum!

I came here for take-out, catering our first office meeting since March. It was also the first meal that I've not cooked for myself in March. And what a treat! The gentleman who took my order (I'm guessing he was the owner), was courteous and proper in that old-school way that I adore. I ordered a jalapeno margarita (easy on the agave, I don't like my drinks too sweet) and it was PERFECT. Parking was decent,, not much room but it was fairly crowded. The staff was really nice and the food got to us quickly. I like my Mexican food spicy with a ton of flavor. This was OK. If you like Americanized Mexican food this is for you. They are in Folsom so it makes sense. I wish there was a salad bar or some kind of table condiments that you can spice up the flavor. I wanted to like the place but it was just pretty good. I got the enchiladas, flautas and chili relleno combo. The super nachos looked decent I'll try that if I swing by again and update this review.
