Services
Leola and Abraham John moved to Parrish, Florida in 1918. They bought 110 acres from a family member and built their house in 1921; the house we still live in to this day. The property had a persimmon grove and chicken houses back in the early 1900's, but then was transformed into a cattle ranch which is currently operated by their grandson, Mitchell John, and his family.
We have designed the inside of the barn to suit your wedding, reception and event needs with a rustic flair. We have embraced our authenticity and farm history in order to bring a little bit of old Florida charm to the atmosphere of your occasion. Our barn rental package includes the use of our 5,400-square foot cypress barn, the area around the barn and much more.
I've known the owners of Rafter J Ranch for years. The friendliness and professionalism that you get from those two alone you cannot get anywhere else. They let me come to the barn numerous times before the event, their property is beautiful, and to top it off the barn is immaculate! I'm so happy I chose Rafter J Ranch to celebrate our special day.
