Services
The James family wants Worthington to be as sentimental to you as it is to them. The estate holds a special place in their hearts thanks to Leeland Cline, father of Donna James and grandfather to Jennifer and Jarret James. Leeland spent a great deal of his time in its original construction and would always pride himself in every detail that contributed to its unique old Florida vibe.
Celebrating the love you two share and getting married, surrounded by your family and friends who love and support you, is what will make for the Perfect Day at Worthington. Service Fees are a standard practice in the industry and are often included in your total bill to accommodate overage, breakage, fuel, administrative fees, additional staff not listed on proposals, bar packages, etc.
Florida charges a 7% sales tax in addition to the venue's base rental fee and all additional packages & services. A 20% Service Fee will be included in the final billing on the base rental fee, all additional rentals. Service fees accommodate building maintenance, use of equipment, kitchen essentials, additional labor, energy costs, liability insurance fees and permits, and various administration fees.

Worthington has partnered with some of Manatee & Sarasota counties premier caterers who offer a variety of menu selections at various price points ensuring you and your guests have delicious food at a price point that you decide on. Opened in 1984 on the premise of providing amazing "farm to table" food, we are known for our specialty sides, as well as our nationally and locally award winning BBQ.

Where do I even begin? Lisa and her staff are AMAZING!!! They are always so helpful and we love working events at the Worthington! The lake views are breathtaking and their bridal suite is the perfect spot for you and your gals to start your day! Lisa works one on one with her couples to make sure every little detail is perfect!
