Todd County Animal Clinic was formed by Dr. George Brown in 1967. Dr. Brown was a 1963 graduate of Auburn University and had worked in Tennessee before purchasing Rose Veterinary Service and forming TCAC in 1967. Dr. V.T. Rose had practiced in the county since the early 1930's before selling his business to Dr. Brown.
Dr. Brown practiced from 1967 until 2008 in our current building. During his years, Dr. Brown mentored many young people who aspired to be veterinarians. In 2001, John Laster began shadowing at Dr. Brown's clinic. John returned home fourteen years later, to re- open the clinic where he started. It's been a lifelong dream of his to own his own place, and provide vet care for the people in his area.

Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

Dr. Corey is such an amazing doctor. He recently had to perform knee surgery on my little Chihuahua. The staff kept me up to date on my pets recovery, and Dr. Corey explained everything to me in terms that I could understand!! Dr. Corey, and the staff is very kind and caring not only to our animals but to the owners as well.
I truly appreciate their ability to see my pets right away when there is an issue regardless how big or small the issue may be.

My favorite vet clinic and staff. I drive from Springfield, TN to come here because it’s worth it. My dog Tip needed surgery at 6 mos and I didn’t know what to do. I brought him here b/c I needed someone to explain to me all my options and tell me what they would do if it was their own dog. Dr. John explained everything so I could understand and was so kind and attentive. They called and gave me updates on Tip and always make me feel valued as a client. We have seen other vets here too and everyone is wonderful. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know and will be a lifelong client of theirs

It was absolute the best. Took my cat there because he has had diarrhea for almost 2 years. Been taking him to another vet. Wanted a second a opinion. My daughter takes her dog here. They are checking everything in a blood test. Cheaper than what I have already paid for him without results. Hoping we find out what's going on so my fur baby and Momma will feel better. If I had a sick or just needed a shot I would highly recommend Todd County Animal Clinic.
