Amazing customer service and professionalism from the owner, Cam, to the office manager, Andria, to the techs, like Derek.
I doubt I have the space to tell all the good that the shop did. While my truck was being fixed the shop had a fire that shut down operations... however, they still kept working on my truck and made arrangements to have it painted elsewhere. They still detailed my truck and completed all my original requests without me having to follow up. God bless them for their good attitudes amid trouble and their honest dealings!

Preferred did an AMAZING job fixing the hail damage on my brand new Bronco Sport. I really thought the damage would never get fixed completely and my new car was going to be ruined forever, but Preferred was able to fix it beyond my wildest expectations. Even knowing how bad the damage was I cannot find a single sign that the hailstorm even happened. I am so happy I brought my car to them! They worked super well with my insurance to get it fixed properly and without cutting corners.

We are new to Prescott and needed to get some car body work done. After searching for a highly rated shop, we found Preferred Auto Body.
I can't say enough good things about this shop. Not only were they customer friendly and efficient, but the job they did on our car was excellent.
The work was done quickly and to our surprise, when we got the car back, it not only looked brand new, but a complete cleaning detail was done, inside and out. It was a pleasure to use this shop and I highly recommend it.

I stopped by to get an estimate on replacing the front bumper/skirt on my 2013 Hyundai. The owner looked at my taped up mess and asked if I wanted to replace the front end piece or do a temporary fix. I am starting a new job and told him that temporary would be fine for now. He worked on removing the tape at the expense of burning his hand several times and made my bumper look brand new. Then I asked him how much. He said, "No Charge", just come back when you are ready to replace it. He also quoted me a price that was less than half of what a Hyundai dealer had quoted me. I am flabbergasted at

I had my car towed here to get an estimate on the damages after a minor car accident. They never did tell me what the estimate was - just decided to do the work without getting my verbal OR written permission. Not cool! I was fully intending on having them do the repairs, but after that unethical behavior, I had my auto insurance tow my car to another shop to complete the work.

Friendly and helpful... until they make a mistake. My car was in an accident that was covered by another party. I chose Preferred because I'd used them before. The damage was on the driver's side doors. After pickup, the doors were done beautifully, but I had a 3 inch long crack in the corner of my bumper that I noticed immediately. I showed the administrative assistant, Lola, and one of their auto body fellows expressed my concern with two other workers. Right before leaving, their assistant Lola and the fellow (I believe it's the owner of shop manager) told me that the crack was already there

I brought my vehicle there after Chino Glass tried to repair my windshield and damaged my vehicle.
Preferred auto body did a top notch job!!! They repaired my windshield and damage, and my vehicle looks brand new. They had excellent customer service, and did the repairs quickly. This was the experience you expect and want from a company. I will be referring everyone I know to them, and be using them from now on. Thanks guys!

Not knowing any body shops around town I was refereed here by the Prescott Nissan dealership. I wasn't very confident with my decision to come here because of their one star Yelp review but I went for it anyway.
My car was in a minor rear end car accident and painting the bumper was the only thing that had to be done. The owner ( or the manager ) is a very nice guy! He gave me a quote that I sent to the person who hit my car and started to work on the bumper.
Three big issues:
- Over estimated the time it took to do the job
- Once the quote was "locked" and the person responsible

Even though the Yelp reviews were marginal, I did read that they were "under new ownership" so I decided to give them a try. I have a '13 Dually that had a fender dent needing repaired. I stopped by at about 9:15 in the morning, got out of my truck (no easy feat, since my truck is pretty large and I was hobbling on crutches due to a recent foot surgery) and made my way into the office. I told them I was needing someone to look at my truck. The nice lady looked down at a guy sitting at the desk and he just shook his head no. She said that "all my estimators are busy"

Preferred Auto Body is under new ownership! Working with Cameron and his crew is always an enjoyable ( as much as can be ) experience. He makes it very easy to get the work done that needs to be accomplished. Avoid, especially if you are in an accident with someone insured by AAA. Preferred doesn't mean that they're preferred by the other driver. They are preferred by the insurance company. I was rear ended hard, and harder by them. In collusion with AAA, they didn't fix my rear hatch that was rendered unusable by the impact. The adjuster at AAA refused the repair without ever seeing the vehicle. A true case of the tail wagging the dog.
