This has been a great year for our son. We chose New Hope Kindergarten because we wanted a more consistent schedule and smaller class size. When I first met Mrs. Reville and she shared details about the program, she impressed me, but she also continues to impress me. She truly loves her students and gives such special attention to each one.
Services
New Hope Preschool and Education Center is a developmental program based on the assumption that children's growth builds from stage to stage. NHPE will assist each child's development by planning activities that will nurture and facilitate optimal growth during each individual stage. NHPE will provide opportunities for the child to make choices, experience success, problem solve and be creative through a variety of mediums.
New Hope Preschool's daily schedule is flexible enough to provide adaptability when necessary but structured enough to provide predictability for the children. We want them to view their school as a safe and comfortable place, where they know what to expect and when to expect it.
Children wash their hands upon arrival, "sign in", and then have opportunities for peer interaction through dramatic play, block play, sensory table, art and table top choices.Greeting, prayer, songs, finger plays, children say the pledge, choose jobs, and talk about the calendar and weather. Focus on academic skills including language & literacy, math, science, social studies, communication and fine & gross motor skills.

Scoop the 'guts' from three to four large pumpkins and place in a shallow storage bin. Invite children to explore the ooey gooey seeds, fibrous strands, and pulp with their fingers or even their toes! Provide items such as measuring cups, mashers, and spoons to continue the discoveries. On her website, consultant Rae Pica lists seven reasons she believes we are seeing more challenging behaviors in children lately.
