The basic idea in the Montessori philosophy of education is that all children carry within themselves the person they will become. In order to develop physical, intellectual, and spiritual potential to the fullest, the child must have freedom- a freedom to be achieved through order and self-discipline.
Why the prepared environment is so important to the success a child experiences with Montessori education?. Montessori's idea of the prepared environment was that everything the child came in contact with would facilitate and maximize independent learning and exploration. Children are free to choose and work on activities at their own pace.
Everybody knows that Montessori is a great way to educate children, but not everyone understands the benefits in detail. Your child learns at his own rate. He is neither held back nor pushed forward according to the learning rates of other students. In a traditional classroom, all the children are learning the same thing and moving through the curriculum at the same rate.

Wow, I am speechless from the first communication with them on the phone. I would never trust them my child! No communication, no respect. I called them one hour before they would close, and their response was "Can you call back later? We are holding the line for a very important call and we will close soon" and they hung up, without waiting for my response or to check if I was okay with that. I am shocked. They obviously don't know how important is that first impact, even if it is virtual.

Love this school! Love the Teachers and staff! We had two of our children at Dublin Montessori before having to move out of state. We have struggled to find another Montessori school that even compared to this one (and we are in a large city). This is what I miss the most: The Director, Mrs. Roshon, is one in a million. The teachers are dedicated, kind, patient and professional. The facility is bright, clean and everything a Montessori school should be. I loved being able to come in any time and watch my sons as they worked through the observation window. I also loved the pick up and drop off routine

I highly recommend the Dublin Montessori Academy preschool/kindergarten program. Montessori education is an invaluable gift that will last a lifetime. I have been involved with the school over a 5 year period as I have sent three of my children to DMA. The directors passion for Montessori and love for the students in awe inspiring. The teachers are dedicated to providing a child-centric education. It's a wonderful environment where learning flourishes.

We could not have been happier with Dublin Montessori Academy! All my son's teachers are AMS trained and certified and highly experienced with over 50 years of combined Montessori teaching experience. Classrooms are peaceful with happily engaged children working on the tasks they have selected themselves. The school is well run as the owner and head of school has been a Montessori teacher for over 30 years herself and her dedication to support teachers parents and children shows in everything. I highly recommend Dublin Montessori Academy preschool/kindergarten program!
