Green Roots Acupuncture & Apothecary was founded with the intent of bringing Traditional Chinese Medicine to those in need of a more holistic approach to their healthcare. With my life long commitment to the quest for knowledge I am able to continually offer a multitude of healing modalities to help people live healthier and happier lives.

Acupuncture has been in practice for over 2,000 years. Currently the World Health Organization recognizes many conditions successfully treated by acupuncture and the list is growing. I've provided a basic list of the more common conditions treated with acupuncture.
Although many people only seek help when actually ill or in pain, Oriental Medicine is an excellent preventative to disease, as it boosts immunity, reduces stress, and balances bodily energies.Prevention is the best medicine. Chinese Herbal Medicine has a very long history of being utilized and due to thousands of practitioners who have documented and expanded on this medicine over the millenia, it remains very much intact as a whole system of diagnostic and prescriptive healthcare. Unlike pharmaceuticals, Chinese formulas are tailored to each individual's unique pattern of presentation, condition, constitution, and other factors.
