AThe Owensboro Church of Christ Preschool started in 1999 with the goal of providing a positive educational experience for three, four and five-year-olds in a Christian environment. In 2004, we added a Pre-Kindergarten class for children who completed a four-year-old class and who are not yet ready for Kindergarten.
BSince the start of the preschool in Owensboro KY, we've been helping boys and girls grow in self-esteem, learn the value of peer relationships, and be prepared to excel in elementary school. Most of all, we have made every attempt to insure that each child has fun and knows that God loves them and we love them.

Services
Your three-year-old child will benefit from a small classroom where he/she will be introduced to letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. Kids will make new friends, grow in their social skills, display self-control, and follow directions. Each child will learn preschool and Vacation Bible School songs, hear a Bible story each day, and grow in a positive, fun-filled, Christian environment.
Your four-year-old will be in one of our two classes, each class with a teacher and teacher assistant present. Each child will learn preschool and Vacation Bible School songs, hear a Bible story each day, and grow in a positive, fun-filled, Christian environment. In all, each child will be prepared to succeed once they go to Kindergarten.
Your Pre-Kindergarten child will benefit from a class size that does not exceed 8 students. In addition, each child will learn preschool and Vacation Bible School songs, hear a Bible story each day, and grow in a positive, fun-filled, Christian environment.
Kids will recognize letters and letter sounds, read color words and basic sight words using phonics, recognize numbers from 0-20, count by twos, fives, and tens, and understand adding and subtracting.Boys and girls will explore the natural environment, paint, draw, use writing tools, and prepare to succeed once they go to Kindergarten.

At our preschool in Owensboro, our experienced director, teachers, aides and families, work together to build a one of a kind atmosphere emphasizing social development and learning through exploration and play. Jimmy helped start the Preschool in 1999, and serves as Director. He is married with one child.
A non-refundable registration fee of $60 is due when the application is turned in to the Director. You may bring the completed application to the preschool office or drop it in the mail. Three-year-old and four-year-old classes have a teacher and a teacher assistant in each class. Please download and print our enrollment form.
