Since 1986, Cathedral has been providing private yet affordable early childhood education to three, four and five-year old children in a warm and inviting environment. Under the ministry of Saint Stephen Cathedral, the preschool provides a Christ-centered atmosphere appropriate for children of all faith traditions.
Cathedral Preschool is proud to have an experienced, loving staff of early childhood professionals. Our teachers have college degrees, have been awarded a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or are working toward that and are current on training hours required by law. Our program is licensed and regulated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Cathedral Preschool is open to any child regardless of religion, race, creed, or ethnic background. We are licensed to operate by the Cabinet for Human Resources, Division of Licensing and Regulation, of Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Cathedral Preschool is happy to make an extended day available to those that attend our preschool and need additional care for their children after preschool hours. The WrapAround Care Program will offer the same Christ-centered, loving, and caring environment as our preschool program. The WrapAround Care Program is licensed and regulated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The teachers at Cathedral are exceptionally dedicated early childhood specialists with some receiving national recognition. Lead teachers have college degrees or early childhood certification. Continuity in teaching is maintained in the teaching staff, with many years of service. Our staff is required to keep abreast of professional developments and current early childhood research.
