Dr. Maddox is a Springfield native who basically grew up in the very office he owns today. He started out as a patient of the previous owner, Dr. Sturm. After many years of faithful cleanings and x-rays, he found that the office felt like home so he went away to dental school and returned as an associate dentist in 2001.
Dr. Maddox now owns the practice and is devoted to providing exceptional treatment to his patients. With this in mind, he focuses on continuing education to facilitate and maintain a high level of excellence in dental care. Dr. Maddox attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.

Services
During your first visit, you will meet our team and tour the office to learn about our practice and the technology that we use. We take the time to learn about your oral health history and current condition, as well as any concerns you may have. We also answer questions about treatments that we provide.
The program is only offered to individuals and families not currently covered by a dental health/insurance plan or Medicaid. This plan is not subject to any Maximums, Deductibles, or Waiting Periods. The program outlined herein is only valid at Maddox Dentistry and benefits are not transferrable to another dental or specialty practice.

I moved to Springfield in 1985. My first & only dentist was Peter Glatz until he retired a couple of years ago. By then he was partnering with Dr. Maddox, so I switched to Maddux when Glatz left. It's been a wonderful transition. Dr. Maddux is kind, concerned, and an excellent dentist who uses advanced technology for a number of procedures. His work is painless and efficient. He has a wonderful staff. I recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking for or wants an A+ dentist.

What a great place to go for any of your dental needs. We have been going to Dr. Maddox for as long as he has been in practice. We referred our daughter, her husband and their five kids there as well and we are all so very pleased with the quick, efficient and friendly staff there. Always a pleasant experience for sure!

Pleasant staff and friendly, professional visit. However, when I went to pay my bill, the person mentioned that I get a discount of 5% for paying the entire amount. After I had paid with a credit card, she announced that she had given me too much of a discount and wanted my credit card again "to charge more money for the additional amount" Thought this was a little strange, but I paid again.
