Womb for Growth is a unique practice that specializes in holistic reproductive healthcare. Fertility is not just about having children; It is, first and foremost, about our health. Having a uterus and ovaries, whether we choose to have children or not, means that we are meant to have menstrual cycles in order to be as healthy as we can be.
Navigating life with the vital capacity to produce life and health-giving hormones in a balanced way, is not always a smooth journey. But that does not mean that we must suffer. It just means that we can occasionally need help to restore or optimize our fertility. The challenge is finding a practitioner who has the knowledge and experience to look at the root cause(s) of your particular health challenge.

Services
Womb for Growth was founded by Dr. Colleen Holland in 2001, a chiropractor and physical medicine expert with a functional medicine approach. She began her career in perinatal and pediatric care; helping families through their transitions of growth.
Working with this population, she noticed that many of the challenges that her patients experienced during their reproductive years, pregnancy and post-partum, had a common origin of hormonal imbalance and menstrual suffering. Most discouraging was that her patients were told this was normal.

Menstrual cycles have been around as long as humans have been alive. And despite being the cyclical force responsible for our existence, we have been encouraged to not talk about our periods. Taboo has led to shame, ignorance, fear and unacceptable suffering. Excellent health care for those with periods requires attention to and knowledge of the menstrual cycle.
Do you live in fear of unplanned pregnancy? Are you concerned about the short and long term effects of hormonal contraceptives? Whether you never want to have children, you are not sure, or you just want to have them on a schedule that works best for you, charting your cycles can give you that freedom and peace of mind.
We offer fertility consulting for couples who are interested in preconception planning, insemination timing, or for couples having trouble conceiving. For those experiencing fertility challenges, Dr. Holland offers non-medical alternatives to improving the likelihood of conception and a healthy pregnancy.

My husband proudly sought care from Colleen, and he's hasn't stopped singing her praises since his visit! He's seen so many chiropractors, and left disappointed so many times. It was refreshing to see him cared for so diligently, and to see his pain go away. As for me, I can't say enough great things about Colleen. She's knowledgable, great at educating her clients, intuitive, and so genuine and caring!

Met with Dr. Holland today and could not have left happier. I'm 41 weeks pregnant and my midwife recommended I see her for an adjustment to see if we can get things moving. My past experience with chiropractors has been a "crack 'em and go" approach, which is NOT what you'll get at Womb For Growth. She took her time, made sure I felt comfortable and kept me informed throughout the entire process. My back and pelvis feel great, the baby is active, and even if this doesn't kickstart my labor, at least I'm comfortable and feeling amazing. I highly recommend her and can't wait to go back with my little
